a space where living with mental weight doesn't feel so heavy
Kind Words 2 has genuinely helped me through some lonely moments. There’s something really comforting about knowing other people out there understand how you feel and can relate to your struggles. The atmosphere is so warm and safe that even small interactions can make a huge difference. It helps pull me out of dark spaces emotionally and reminds me there’s still kindness, connection, and light in the world. Sometimes just reading or sending a thoughtful message can completely change my mood. I’m really grateful something like this exists. Honestly, it doesn’t even feel like a traditional game to me - it feels more like an experience and a safe outlet to vent, reflect, and connect with others emotionally. It’s comforting in a way most things online aren’t. One thing I do wish for, though, is the ability to talk to others live or in real-time conversations. I think being able to connect more directly with people could make the experience feel even more meaningful and comforting. ✨💛
If you're going through a rough time in your life, or have hope and kindness to spare, or are bored, those are all completely valid reasons to download this game. What a adorable comforting concept, the game provides such a nice community of people to send messages to.
A wholesome game where you get do good deeds to strangers who might be going through a tough time.
Such a unique and interesting way to foster connection between complete strangers. I've received some of the best advice of my life here and given my own insights to people who might benefit from them. Heartfelt, relaxing, reflective, and a great reminder that we're all human with different stories but similar experiences.
might possibly have one of the best communities ever
Like the original, calling it a "game" feels odd. This is you and a lot of other people putting notes in bottles and sending them into the current. There is the option to reply to these notes, though you won't be able to write a wall of text. The "intended behavior" is to be supportive human beings. There are no names, no way to contact each other outside of the "game", so theoretically you can be fairly open (though you should always be careful with private issues). This is about you letting your worries drift and and you have the opportunity to provide emotional support, possibly suggestions. You flash your lights and continue drifting downsteam and never speak again. If you've ever done something nice for someone and they didn't know it, this is for you. If you need someone to give an attaboy or maybe a little compassion, this is for you. For reals though; this is not a substiute for "real" mental health care. This can be compassion, but there is no guarentee of getting true mental health care, other than to hear that "there are other people out there, and they hear you".
This is a real special sort of space and community that enables cathartic experiences through feeling heard and to help others anonymously. This is really more of an expansion of the first Kind Words where you still write letters and answer them from your room that you can decorate and listen to lofi music from. But then there are community public spaces that are setup for different sorts of communications. Overall, incredibly wholesome game that performs a great service to the world by existing.
Kind Words in a bit hard for me to describe. I find it challenging to call interacting with it "playing." It is a lovely and amazing space where you can do anything from collecting stickers, hang out in a virtual coffee shop, to helping people deal with huge challenges to exploring... I could list about 10 more things here, some more unique than others. If you like chillhop, having mini-interactions filled with humor, wisdom, genuine positivity, and also being there for others, please come join us. Your faith in humanity will be maintained. Oh yeah, you can also name cats. It's kinda great.
