About
Where should the sofa go? Near the window or against the wall? is there enough room to breathe?
Room to Breathe is a cozy, thoughtful logic puzzle game where you design rooms not just to look good, but to feel right. Each client comes to you with a place and a set of personal needs, and preferences. Your task is to place furniture in a way that satisfies functional requirements and should feel right to you ( some times ).
Every room is a small puzzle. A desk needs natural light to be productive. A bed shouldn’t feel cramped or blocked. A dining table should invite conversation, not clutter. Some clients want open space to move and breathe, while others prefer a snug, intimate layout. There’s no single “correct” answer—only solutions that balance logic, aesthetics, and intuition.
As you progress, you’ll meet a variety of clients, each with their own stories, personalities, and expectations. From compact apartments to larger living spaces, every new project introduces fresh challenges, new furniture types, and evolving constraints. Take your time, experiment freely, and trust your design instincts.
Room to Breathe is a calm, pressure-free experience—no timers, no penalties, just the satisfaction of turning empty rooms into spaces that truly belong to someone.

I love that it’s not just about making a room look pretty. you actually have to think about functionality and specific client quirks, like where to put the plant table so it gets enough light. The isometric art is super clean, and the whole experience is just incredibly therapeutic. If you need a break from high-stress gaming, this is the one. Simple, satisfying, and looks great.
I think it's inspired in Is this seat taken? I like the art and gameplay even though I'm not sure with some of the furniture distribution but in general is a fun game.
Only isometric and top-down viewpoints which is a little annoying. Item arrangement is based on arbitrary proximity to specific objects and not organization, symmetry, or cleanliness. Some objects have to be "close to a window" but only one window in a room counts as a window. The levels are multistep halfway through some it stops letting you pick up objects. The only way to fix it is to restart the whole level. My final straw was looking to report a bug and seeing the gen AI disclosure. That's on me though, I should have paid more attention and I wouldn't have bought this in the first place.
