Definitely. Memorization is key, but there's multiple ways to avoid many arrow patterns, some much much more precise than others. If this appeals to you, you will be satisfied!

Great game, so much fun! Definitely a challenge but the amazing commentary keeps you coming back!

I 100% recommend this game. Its fun, challenging, lovely graphics and the story is good and amusing. Lots of comedy. Will you rage? Get mad? Annoyed? Wanna smash your head into a brick wall and forget about some of these rooms? Well of course but that's part of the fun with this game! Chaotic approved!

The game is very fun, although slightly short if you don't account for the amount of tries you'll need to beat the last few levels, recommended if you like platformers/memorization games

I think the thing Killer Chambers executed best was capturing the true essence of just how hard retro-style games actually felt — and, more specifically, how I reacted to them. As a kid, I played Donkey Kong 64 until my hands practically bled, and that already extremely difficult game requires you to beat the original Donkey Kong in order to totally complete it (amongst many, many other things). For a 9 year old, it was pretty brutal, and I found myself throwing down my controller and walking away for several minutes, only to come right back and try again. Think “Rage Breather” instead of a full-on “Rage Quit”. This is exactly what I ended up doing with Killer Chambers. I might die 40 or 50 times in one room, swearing profusely each time, until I reached my limit and had to exit out of the game. This would be followed by me booting up the game after a few minutes, only to repeat the process over and over again. It was like Sega’s Lion King reborn, except this time I couldn’t hand the controller over to my older, more seasoned cousins during the stampede level. I was on my own in the most nostalgically frustrating experience I’ve had… ever?

After 1184 deaths I've finally beaten the final boss... but now there are still the hard and super hard versions of every level left... xD If you like bullet hell and platforming games and are up for a challenge then try out this game! Since every level has a unique pattern you don't need insane reflexes to win (it helps though). Instead it's learning by dying, study the levels and figure out the moves that make you survive. Can get pretty frustrating at times though, especially since the last few waves of every level are often way harder than the rest. 9/10

In this video I take a look at Killer Chambers a platform challenge game. This game isn't for the faint of hearted, it will really test you. You get locked in different chambers as you try to reach the throne room and you need to defeat the secret defence traps. It's all about memorisation and reflexes as the trap will repeat each time allowing you to perfect your technique and defeat it. It's riddled with humour and you can buy items to help you along the way. For $5 USD it's quite a good find.
