About
KilaFlow is a challenging fast paced precision 3D platformer where you play as a cute and mischievous Antivirus trying to fix the mistakes of it's creator and save all data from a mysterious virus!
In KilaFlow, you play as a digital simulation of a Toy Robot named "Kila", the mascot of the "KilaFlow" Antivirus. It's creator, Connor D. Rive, has made Kila in hopes that it can cure and fend off any and all viruses that plague their life. Kila must find the nine keys of each program to gain access to the source of the virus and bring it back to the side of cute and friendly, by any means Kila (or YOU) feels like!
Walk, Run, Jump, Bounce, Spin, Charge, or FLOW your way to the end and save as much data it takes along the way! You may be an Antivirus, but when was the last time one of those ever REALLY fixed the problem, huh? Save all the corrupted data, or don't! Beat the best time, or take as much time as you need! As long as you reach the Golden Brackets, collect the key, and beat the virus, it doesn't matter how much you help as long as you're having fun!
With 9 stylish worlds, each having 9 short but challenging levels and a boss, KilaFlow will present you with new challenge after challenge, obstacle after obstacle, huggable data critters after huggable data critters! Whether you're a speedrunner, completionist, or just here for casual platforming fun, there are many ways to play and enjoy this series of digital obstacle courses! Beat the best times of levels to get better keys and unlock secrets, save or ignore every data to receive awards or face stronger foes, and you can do it all without taking a tick of damage! The real challenge starts when you chose to perfect your runs and do every challenge the game has to offer. Though, if that's not your thing, just getting to the end is fine too! Play as much or as little as you choose!
From an virtual pet on an oldschool computer browser to a sketchy dating app with some questionable characters, Kila cleans it all! Chill out to the beats from a friendly dolphin in a Vaporwave Cove, or run across train cars in a Dinosaur ridden offline Desert. Be careful what you click when journeying through literal Ad Space, and don't trust every wise Gorilla offering to send emails for you in the big city. Who knows what Antivirus Adventures you might find yourself in!
KilaFlow is a small, simple, and fun little platformer I began developing to keep my spirits up, and I'd like to share that fun with you all as well! It has since succeeded it's Kickstarter with the support of it's community, and I intend to keep developing it with the players needs first! Thank you very much!

Absolutely phenomenal game that feels incredible to master and zoom through the levels!
KilaFlow is a colorful 3D platforming adventure developed and published by Chao Kompany LLC that captures the spirit of classic mascot platformers while introducing a movement system built around speed, rhythm, and precision. Set inside a vibrant digital universe, the game follows Kila, a robotic antivirus tasked with eliminating a dangerous virus that has corrupted various virtual worlds. Rather than focusing on an elaborate narrative, the game emphasizes engaging gameplay, imaginative environments, and the satisfaction that comes from mastering increasingly complex platforming challenges. Its cheerful presentation, playful humor, and nostalgic inspiration create an experience that feels both familiar and refreshingly original. The strongest aspect of KilaFlow is its movement mechanics. Every stage is designed to encourage players to chain together jumps, dashes, spins, bounces, and the signature Flow ability to maintain momentum while navigating intricate obstacle courses. The controls are responsive, allowing skilled players to move fluidly through each level, while newcomers can gradually improve as they become more comfortable with the game's physics. Instead of relying on combat as its primary attraction, KilaFlow places movement at the center of the experience, rewarding precise execution and clever routing. This emphasis on player skill gives every successful run a satisfying sense of accomplishment. The game's campaign is divided into nine distinct worlds, each containing nine levels followed by a boss encounter. Every environment introduces fresh mechanics, hazards, and visual themes that prevent the gameplay from becoming repetitive. From quirky computer-inspired landscapes to surreal digital locations filled with humorous references, each stage showcases creative ideas that fit naturally within the game's virtual setting. The worlds are compact enough to keep the pacing brisk while still offering enough variety to make exploration enjoyable. Boss fights also provide welcome breaks from traditional platforming by testing players' understanding of the movement system in different ways. Replay value is another major strength. Simply reaching the end of each stage is only part of the experience, as players are encouraged to rescue corrupted data creatures, collect hidden keys, complete levels without taking damage, and achieve faster completion times. These optional objectives add considerable longevity by giving completionists and speedrunning enthusiasts plenty of reasons to revisit previously cleared stages. At the same time, players who simply want to finish the adventure can do so without feeling forced into perfection, making the game accessible to multiple playstyles. Visually, KilaFlow delivers an appealing blend of bright colors, expressive character designs, and imaginative environments. The digital setting gives the developers plenty of freedom to create unusual worlds inspired by retro computing, quirky software, and internet culture while maintaining a cohesive artistic style. The soundtrack complements the energetic gameplay with lively music that reinforces the fast-paced action and keeps each level feeling exciting. Together, the visuals and audio successfully establish an upbeat atmosphere that supports the game's emphasis on fun and exploration. Despite its many strengths, KilaFlow may not appeal equally to everyone. The precision platforming demands patience, especially during later stages where timing and movement become increasingly demanding. Players looking for a heavily story-driven experience or combat-focused gameplay may also find the narrative relatively light. However, these design choices are intentional, as the game clearly prioritizes mechanical mastery and rewarding gameplay over cinematic storytelling. Overall, KilaFlow is an impressive indie platformer that demonstrates a strong understanding of what makes the genre enjoyable. Its fluid movement mechanics, inventive level design, colorful presentation, and rewarding optional challenges combine to create an experience that feels polished and engaging from beginning to end. Chao Kompany LLC successfully delivers a modern platforming adventure that respects the classics while introducing enough fresh ideas to stand on its own. Fans of fast-paced platformers, time trials, and skill-based gameplay will find plenty to enjoy, while newcomers willing to embrace its learning curve will discover a charming and highly replayable adventure. I love this gender ambiguous little guy
I spent like 20~30 minutes trying to perfect the first bonus stage. 10/10, would restart again and again and again and again and again and again and Also Kila and all the other alt costumes are so darn cute Also the soundtrack slaps, which also helps keep me goin' and restarting again and again and again and
I'm so totally normal about this game.
It's a pretty neat platformer.
kila is so cute and awesome and so like you know the one post in the background of the social media themed level where it says like 'what species is it i wanna be it tbh.' That one. Yeah i agree with whoever that is al;so all the other designs are awesome and cool too . obviously anyways actual gameplay notes in general the platforming is really tight /pos ; my only complaint about general platforming is that in many times late-game its hard to see the landing reticle as the camera gets very strangely positioned very often so it doesnt really work as well as youd hope ; not to mention sometimes it lying about a particular kind of thin thing [vague for spoilers sake] being landed on or not. otherwise its very cozy and easy to get used to controls wise! make sure to keep a clear head though, the later levels can get HARD and if you get even a bit frustrated or rushy youll start failing to see very basic solutions to problems and it'll spiral into misery. ask me how i know! /rhetorical also try not to get used to flowbouncing everywhere, its really fun and can cheese a lot of things and the game barely ever discourages it but you get punished for it bad later on if you take that easy route all the time. again, ask me how i know!! /alsoRhetorical
Good if you want to scratch that early 2000s platformer itch
Fun Game! Would definitely recommend. My one BIG, I guess, annoyance, would be the Gravity Changing Mechanic. Whenever it comes up in any level, my enjoyment of the level instantly falls to 0. I find every single segment of it just annoying, tedious and not got to look at.
