About
Keziah’s Realm is an immersive survival game where you and 144 NPCs are scattered across a vast map divided into 36 procedurally generated chunks, each belonging to one of eight unique biomes. From the very start, you must forage for resources, craft essential items, and defend yourself to survive the perilous first night. From then on collaboration is key; forming clans with other survivors allows each member to specialize in roles such as hunting for food or constructing shelters. This specialization enables players to focus on their strengths while relying on their clanmates for other essential tasks, fostering a dynamic and cooperative gameplay experience.
As clans grow by recruiting more members, a leader will be elected based on their popularity and contributions. The leader plays a crucial role in making strategic decisions, such as managing relations with other clans and planning the expansion of settlements. The game’s world is a living, breathing ecosystem where every creature must survive and reproduce, adding layers of realism and complexity. This constant simulation requires players to continually adapt to the evolving environment, ensuring that no two experiences are ever the same.

In the time ive played it, i would describe this game as a hidden gem, that is probably worth more than the asking price. For £10 you get a very complete game that as it says on the menu, was made by just one person! The world feels very alive as your clan members all have their own roles and jobs to do, and even the other clans will be progressing when you're not in the chunk and can even compete with your clan which is really cool. Its like each NPC is a player and can do the same things. I got the midas touch relic in this play through, which is cool, but you can only have one relic, which means ill probably try a different seed, because one of the relics my clan member got seems really cool, he turns into a wolf. Thats why i said this game is worth more than the asking price, i think theres easily 15 or so hours of game play if you want to try a few different roles and relics. If you like survival games and want to support a solo dev, this one is definitely worth giving a go
A particular highlight of this game for me is the NPC system, as their complexity really makes the world feel alive. They all speak, with quirky and sometimes hilarious dialogue which made me laugh at times, reminding me of games like Tomodachi Life. I also enjoyed the dialogue wheel when speaking to NPCs, as it allowed me to engage in conversations in a variety of ways, learning more about each NPC and informing whether i wanted to side with them. Every NPC is autonomous too, carrying out their own activities like building structures, looting caves, or attacking others, and seeing them perform these activities whilst I was exploring made me feel like I was part of a living world. I've only played a small amount of the game so far, but what I've seen has really impressed me. The world and its inhabitants are very diverse, and I am excited to see where this game goes in the future, as there are many possibilities for evolution in this already charming game. If you are into open world survival games and want a living, breathing world filled with complex characters where you can dictate your own story, then i highly recommend checking this game out.
Great indie game, the world feels alive, like its constantly moving. All the clans around you grow steadily and the NPCs all form relationships and get stronger together. I love it when the NPCs say and do the most random things, which makes it hard not to get attached before the ethereal army comes and wipes them out. Another thing I liked is that there are plenty of different roles to choose from and after you choose your own role, your clan-mates will take care of the rest. As an example I'm personally not really into building with these kind of games, but here I can just be a scout or a hunter and let the builders take care of it for me. It's really cool to use the same seed and see what would've happened to the NPCs in your world without your influence. I did find a couple bugs with the inventory, which I'm assuming will get fixed with the next update.
Only a couple hours in the full game but have spent plenty of time with the demo and I am really enjoying the game so far. I love coming back to locations and other settlements after the game has progressed and seeing what has happened in the world. I recommend the builder class if you are starting out as i think it is the best job for helping shape the town. Looking forward to the new updates content and will be playing more
Honestly, a really sick game. The guys running around the world talk to you (they actually have voices so turn your volume up), think for themselves, do their own tasks, and interact with each other. I really enjoy exploring all the different roles you can take in your clan. The crafting system is easy to get into (though it took me ages to figure out to press 'C' lol). It’s simple to understand, but there’s still loads to explore, and the map is pretty big. I’ve enjoyed trying something new and I’m definitely going to dive in and discover more. The fight mechanics are also really cool, and exploring in general feels intuitive and fun. It’s kind of like Minecraft, but with Sims-like interactions and Terraria-style exploration, all wrapped up in its own expansive yet easy-to-navigate world. Definitely worth a go.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Keziah’s Realm is a masterfully crafted survival experience that blends deep strategy, emergent storytelling, and dynamic world-building into one unforgettable adventure. From the moment you step into its procedurally generated world, you're met with a sense of scale and challenge that few survival games achieve. The game’s emphasis on collaboration is a standout feature. Forming and managing a clan isn’t just a side mechanic—it’s essential to survival. Watching your small group grow into a thriving settlement, navigating alliances and conflicts, and making tough leadership decisions adds a layer of depth that keeps every playthrough fresh. The living ecosystem is another highlight. The fact that NPCs form relationships, hunt, and even reproduce makes the world feel truly alive. The ability to trade, build, and strategize alongside AI-driven survivors ensures no two experiences are ever the same. With its rich survival mechanics, engaging social dynamics, and endless replayability, Keziah’s Realm is a must-play for fans of the genre. Whether you're a lone wanderer or an aspiring clan leader, this game offers an unparalleled journey of survival and conquest. Highly recommended!
I dont have a ton of time in this game yet, but so far, I'm really enjoying it. It's simple, yet the core game loop is fun. I like seeing what my villagers are doing, and see how they interact with eachother. It really feels like you're building your own little settlement.
I enjoyed the concept of this game, it has several cool ideas, although it's hard to figure out what to do at first, without outside help, I see a lot of potential in this game and I'm looking forward to seeing it evolve, like a pokemon
I left the Land of Thorns as a humble fisherman and returned battleweary after having slaughtered all of Bloodnight. Cool game looking forward to seeing how it develops!
The beginning feels like rust, killed some others starting just like me, traded with one and gave them berries and talked to them and made a clan. Did a few to make clan bigger, those that don't join die. Built some houses. Starting to see others do the same and make clans. Let's see where it goes from here.
