Can't really complain since it's FREE! But if I was asked to critique, here's some things I would change: Death - It's too sudden. One second you are alive, next second you are at the spawn point. Allow the player to see the dead body / notify the player how they were killed, etc, then when ready press a button to go to the respawn point. Respawning after death: One thing I really didn't understand / got frustrated with is that when I built a house with walls doors, etc, it offered ZERO protection from spear throwing guys. No way to lock the door. In the middle of the night I have 2 guys just randomly spawn inside my house while I'm sleeping. Sometimes (after death) I will spawn immediately to my house/bed and there are 2-3 guys sitting there waiting for me. That should not happen. Even when I started a brand new game I entered the game with spears, arrows and axe weilding enemies attacking me already before I even had time to make a weapon. Tutorial - I like how at the beginning there was some direction (eg. chop a tree, make an axe, etc), but after a few completed steps, I no longer got prompted to do anything. It's a 'nice to have' feature, but I suppose I could live without it. It's not always obvious what to do next, or where to go next. Some directions (quests?) would be good here. Map - The map is pretty much useless. I mean, there's no need to use it. If I could 'zoom in' or 'mark-up' the map with notes on things I have found (locations, dungeons, houses, etc) that would be really nice. What would be nicer? If the game auto-marked them for me as I discovered them - save me a lot of time. If the dev's implement any of the above fixes/changes I might be interested in providing additional feedback/suggestions/etc. It's a cute little game. I wouldn't pay for, but, it did manage to hold my attention for about 1 - 2 hours, so it's not without some value. Thanks for making it free to try out. Best of luck with it's continued development!

I get that the game is brand new, but there are a few key features missing: - No graphics/UI adjustments, including non-fullscreen mode - No information on controls or ways to alter them (the "controls" setting screen is literally empty) Hope these details are addressed in newer updates
i like it so far .. but map is a bit confusing and i cant pin or know where i am or how to get back .. spacially when im at layer 1 ... besides the rope to get up is too small .. i barely notice it but thanks overall
im gonna be honest here, this game should be early access, and if this is intended to be the finished state, dont play it
Shovelware. Some game elements are so unclear that you'll end up being unable to progess unless you guess and get lucky.
I'm currently doing a challenge to play through a free game in every single category on steam. I then give an honest review using ChatGPT.
Game: 113 / 447 Category: Building "An Intriguing Idea Undone by Poor Execution" The premise of a pixel-art, open-world survival crafting game had potential, but the execution leaves much to be desired. Right from the start, the experience feels off. You spawn into the world under immediate attack, forcing you to run for your life before you’ve even had a chance to figure out the basics. The crafting system is simple enough to grasp, and there’s a glimmer of enjoyment in exploring and gathering resources. But then night falls—and the game completely falls apart. I sought refuge in a cave, hoping to find safety by hiding in a small room. Turns out, walls don’t actually matter. Enemies can attack you through them, as I learned the hard way when an archer relentlessly shot me dead from the other side of a wall. This completely breaks the core concept of survival and base-building. If your defenses are meaningless, what’s the point? While the pixel-art aesthetic might appeal to some, the graphics don’t do much to elevate the game, and the lack of polish in gameplay mechanics is a deal-breaker. The idea had promise, but the frustrating execution ensures it’s more of a headache than a rewarding survival experience. Intriguing concept, but the game doesn’t deliver. Walls that don’t block enemies ruin any sense of strategy or progress. Skip it.
