Absolutely love this game. Pink Hour and Pink Heaven were also great little prequels. Kero Blaster has the gameplay feel of Cave Story but is a much simpler and more light-hearted game. The Normal Mode was already a challenge but I will certainly try to continue to get the most out of this game. Hope there's more games in this universe eventually!
Kero Blaster is a fun indie sidecroller shooter platformer where you play as a Frog. What's not to love? It can be buggy and freeze at times on Mac but it always unfreezes eventually lol. I bought this game for it's awesome Points Shop items, so I was delighted that the game was actually fun to play!
I'm Kero Blasting all over the place (with guns). Anyway, great game! And it has a great mobile port, too!

One of the greatest games ever made, and, perhaps, even the greatest title of its genre. As someone who grew up on Cave Story, this game manages to still hit home, even after all those years. And even today, in 2026, the game holds up better than ever, especially within its market. Everyone who wants a fun, creative, and honest indie platformer and 2D shooter, that retro appeal, should play Kero Blaster. Thank you, Pixle, for making yet another masterpiece!
