Just begin with saying this is a good game. I liked the artstyle alot. It works. Its charming and vibrant. With alot of colors. The atmosphere and setting is spot on. The gameplay is good and you get enough new tools to use that it doesnt get stale. This also count for how you traverse and solve puzzles or objetives. How you have dodge, parry, other abilites ,bow, different type of melee attacks. How you use your spirits to help you solve puzzle or do special abilites. The skills system is simple but, it works I liked the enemy variety. And the bosses is suprisingly good and varied The characters is fine. And the story is also quiet good I also liked the music alot. Climbing or finding you way from a to b works very well in this game.
I played this a couple of years back and didn't super gel with it; I think a big obstacle for me was the combat, which for some reason I found to be really overly challenging and ended up souring my taste on the whole experience. Now slightly older and wiser I decided to give it another shot, and yeah, I really enjoyed it this time around! Kena Bridge of Spirits is an undeniably gorgeous game; these visuals make you feel like you're playing a Pixar or Dreamworks movie, and whilst there are occasionally a bit of performance hiccups as a result, for the most part this game absolutely nails its visual presentation. The music is really nice too! Pleasant melodies that fit in with the lovely environments accompany you throughout the game and make everything feel like a nice cohesive world. The world itself is also fun to explore, with stuff scattered about to collect in a pseudo God of War 2019 style. I do think the platforming can be a little awkward, as Kena's double jump doesn't quite give you the momentum shift you always expect, but I do like the puzzles and challenges you're presented with when it comes to finding collectables and navigating the world. It can be a little tiresome later into the game to backtrack to find collectables, so I wish they brought in some "treasure map" buyable so you can spend some of the currency you amass tons of, but collectables are optional, and it's perfectly simple to find guides online! Whilst I don't dislike it as much as I did on my first playthrough, I do still think most of the combat is probably the weakest part of the game; I just wish in the world we are presented with, Kena had a slightly more exciting moveset with more influence from the magical or fantastical elements. As it stands you get a light attack, a heavy attack, an arrow and a bomb, which do function pretty well for what they are, but a lot of the time you're mashing the light attack on the smaller enemies to stunlock them to death before wailing on the bigger enemy until they fall over. Everything feels perfectly responsive, but I do wish they'd made the parry feel a little more lenient, as it feels like it is too risky for not as much reward. Overall though, the combat is enjoyable, if nothing too amazing! 7/10
это ж шедевр, босы просто 10/10 графика приятная, боевка классная, история прикольная
Good and cute
Hermoso (8/10.)
Amazing game with such an amazing story and interactions
EXCELLENT
战斗一坨、解密依托,玩到现在真是有点玩不下去了
The game's design and music are incredibly relaxing, making you feel like you're inside a playable Pixar movie. I'm eagerly awaiting the second game.
