fun little game with insanely unique characters, not the standard fighter, assassin, wizard stuff.
I lub dis game.
Cool Game!
I liked it. Fun, different classes. Only real negative was the achievement for 1mil kills. I was finished with everything else at around ~600k.
The idea is nice sadly the balance and descriptions are not good. the chars are uniq and its overall good idea to make them feel different and i read that it seems that the devs try to make some chars glasscannons and other more "tanky" aiming for survivability. on paper it sounds good but the values of hpreg/defense are way to little to matter in many cases especially of the hard setting. examples are hp reg of different characters think most have ~5-6hp reg/sec collecting items like monk standing or necromancer collecting corpses > if you have 140-200hp and getting hit for something like 80+ dmg you barely have time to heal up if you get 2-3 shottet, not saying that it can help sometimes but the problem is that those that have those skills lose alot of dmg for the "survivability" and this leads to more enemies and more likly getting surrounded and getting hit by stray attacks as you lose visibilty of traps rangeattacks. visibility is also a big problem for the deathcap (mushroom) curse little purple things spawn on ground which explode and deal lots of dmg the biggest problem they look like background effects like flying leaves and as no curse or event is explained you have to learn by trial and error what the different curses that happen do. would love a index to read what curse does as some are "dont touch or you get dmg" mushrooms and others are "collect or get debuff" melody . the varity of curses is ok they vary from mildly annoying to get hit and you mostlikly lost the run. (most of the times at end of the run for survival achivment) skills: i think there are way to many passiv skills for each class + general passiv. the good thing comapred to other survival games passivs dont count into your skill bar. but there should be some passiv that need rework or getting removed. soul collection range / gold collection are 2 of the that should be removed or added to already exsiting once. like soul range + xp gain could be 1 passiv. not that you should pick soul range at all soulmagnet drops more than enough that you can just walk around and ignore some souls o the passiv + knowledge is to be honest completly useless +10% basic attack is also kinda a strange passiv yeah it increases the dmg but there are some classes that dont even have 10basic attack so with 50% boost you get not even 5 attack. these low numbers are also problem for other skills and this is problem with description as its often just written increase dmg of skill X by % but nowhere you can see the info howmuch it actually does you have to look on enemies when they get hit and often its sadly one digit number till they reach rank 5. idea to have options to "buy" up 2 skills from other classes is nice problem is early game you have neither gold nor spare xp to use it. (especially the xp is bad early on till you maxed the talents of the class) would be better to have options to buy with gold or either xp. merchant items i dont understand why there are items without descriptions. i mean ok for first buy fine but the moment you buy for example pet rock and it uses its attack skill you could have info pet that attack with earth.... or just have description anyway.
