About

Keep Keepers merges the excitement of automation games with the strategic challenges of base defense. Night after night, exploit your enemy's varying weaknesses with different weapon combinations to defend your keep. During the day, invest in new weapons and upgrades, build your fortress, and plan for the upcoming fight.

Defending ain’t easy. Use the strengths of each of your weapons to wreak havoc onto your enemies. Each weapon type will drastically alter your playstyle. With Keep Keepers, we took everything we love about tower defense and automation games and tried to combine it with accessible roguelike gameplay.

Finding the right balance between your economy and defense is the key to success. Use explosives to mine diamonds, sell them in the shop, and invest wisely in enhancing the defenses of your keep. Will you choose a new smelter, grabbers for automation, expanding your weapon arsenal, additional ammunition storage, or defensive upgrades? Keep Keepers is easy to pick up, yet offers surprising depth as you try to master the game.

During the day you'll unlock new weapons, streamline your production, and upgrade your keep. Now is the moment to craft unwavering battle strategies. Fortify your keep and deliver your rallying speech, aiming to endure for as long as possible. Keep Keepers is our take on creating a unique and enjoyable co-op strategy experience and if that sounds like your kind of fun, we can't wait for you to dive in and experience Keep Keepers for yourself.

Game is pretty fun. Probably not worth the price unless on sale though. Biggest issue is that the devs haven't updated the game in a while and announced a new game instead so this game is probably abandoned.
YOU CAN SAVE THE GAME!!! Very important information that is not readily apparent. If you beat a day, you can exit in to the main menu and it will save your run. Other than that, it's a really fun game, and the tools are great to use for automation!
The game has a really solid foundation. I found myself immediately thinking of the potential automation and offense options that await me. Where it falls flat is in small, but numerous ways. While I think the idea of having to weigh the value in upgrading shop slots to get access to better automation items is cool, it leaves too much to chance. In PlateUp (the clear inspiration for this game), you can utilize the Research Bench, Copy Machine, and Blueprint Cabinets to gain more control over your tools. If you get a basic stove in the store, you can use the Research bench to upgrade that into a safety hob. In Keep Keepers, if you're looking for the safety furnace, you have ZERO control or other options than praying it appears in your store via rerolling. That lack of control leads to runs feeling entirely RNG dependent. As far as weaponry goes, the game could use some variety. In the basic mode, you start with a basic cannon. You can find a double cannon or buzzsaw in your store, or you can upgrade either of your cannon types with elemental ammunition. That is the extent of it. Once you have your desired element, beyond a couple of small buffs from the totems, you cannot improve your offense capabilities. The entire fun of tower defense games is constantly upgrading and improving your towers until you are obliterating the massive waves of enemies with your supreme defenses. Keep Keepers fails to achieve this in any meaningful way, leading to no real motivation to push to higher waves. Automation of ammunition and econ combined with tower defense elements sounds amazing on paper and even feels good at the start. Unfortunately, the game fails to follow through on making these elements rewarding, causing the waves to feel like chores rather than be enjoyable to watch your chaotic cannon factory consume the enemy forces. What pains me the most is these issues can easily be solved through the addition of a few new tools akin to the PlateUp Research Bench variations and upgradable defenses. Apparently, the dev has foregone any future development on the game for financial concerns, which while valid, mean the game will remain in the mediocre and uninspired state I found it to be.
This game is a Diamond in the rough. Absolutely hands down amazing. The thought and care that went into this game is top tier. It combines tower defence with resource management and automation, all categories I love. Truly though it's about how they combined them into one seamless game that makes you think well still being enjoyable. Going into this game it looked fun but me and my Friend had our concerns about how well it would play and how much depth it would have. However it blew us both out of the water that it's mechanics are straightforward and simple but allow for high end complexity well having tons of content to explore. This is a game I feel I will be able to come back to time and time again over the years and enjoy over and over.
設備を整えながら毎晩モンスターを倒していくゲーム。 2時間程で最適解に辿りついてしまい、それ以上やることがなくなってしまいました。 パーティーゲームとしてはいいと思いますが、実績もないのでやりこみ要素には欠けています。
Honestly a gem of a game. Me and my friends have had so much fun despite losing countless times. It didn't get enough marketing or exposure (wish it did so I could have found it sooner). It's still enjoyable playing solo in a more serious approach and getting creative with the automation which is RNG so no one run is ever the same. The steam sharing is also a great bonus to play with friends. Definitely will recommend it to all to support this game and get the love it deserves :D
Hidden gem (literally :). My sister and I are always looking for new co-op games. This one far exceeded our expectations! It is a seamless blend of base management/automation and tower defense. Plus, you get to run around as cute animals.
Fun game that reminds me a lot of Plate Up if you've ever played that.
Finish this game before you make a new one, regret wasting money on this
