Developer fixed the tutorial problem really quickly. Yes, I had selected English but some of the tutorial was in English and some in Japanese. I posted this as a review because I did not want anybody turned off this game because of that. Anyway, it's all good now, so this review can go and get buried, but I'll leave the following for posterity. Original 'Review' The tutorial for the actual game is partly in what I assume is Japanese, so I missed one key part of how to play. The core gameplay is to press RMB to lock onto targets and LMB to attack. If you keep RMB pressed down and move the mouse around quickly enough you can string together a bunch of attacks wire-fu style. I don't remember this being a problem with the demo, so maybe this is a bug in the localization. I played the demo a few months ago and had a ball; I played through the fist level twice. But it seemed like the final release was a huge step backwards until I accidentally figured out the RMB thing, and then it all came back to me. Anyway, I've just played through the first two levels. The bosses are tough but fair, unlike a lot of games. Very cool concept of fast flowing combat that is not quite like anything else I've played. Also, since I'm sure the dev is reading this, could we not be locking the FPS to 60. I'm sure I could be running this at 120. The game is making me a bit queezy at 60.
Yes, the gameplay loop of this game is fun, music slaps.
This game is really freaking awesome I personally would increase the jump height and the amount the camera can look up and down
This game reminds me of another similar genre/playstyle game which is Karlson, another extremely well-made game. Overall is very good, awesome character design, kinda challenging game stage design (at least for the last stage) and the music is LIT. Honestly hope that we will be receiving more updates as 3 stages is definitely not enough for me. Definitely had a lot of fun while playing and cant wait to see more from the developer as i can clearly see their passion and loves towards the game.
kick ass game. music + boss fight is insane. the only thing is the game is too short. looking forward to more !
Boring! The one hit kill and dash to enemy combat system makes the game boring as hell. The bosses might be more fun, but I haven't bothered since the normal rooms suck. A traditional hack n Slash Rogue-like would have been way more entertaining and stisfying to play. I should have looked videos before buying. Edit: Or maybe trying the Demo.
SWISH SHOOSH SLASH, GAME PEAK FRR
Jogo de uma nota só, medíocre em 99% dos aspectos, muito curto e caro demais considerando tudo isso. A coisa mais legal é o design do protagonista
has some good ideas and great music, but its janky and short. Its really easy too, until the end. It feels like its missing several levels to add rising difficulty, and the janky parts of the game make the final boss nuisance. There is a hard mode, but that final boss ain't worth it
