Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 7 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This the best game ever
I rolled, and rolled, and rerolled.
Gameplay-wise and mechanically, aside from the typical satisfaction that comes with games of this type, this one feels somewhat subpar. Much of that stems from the developer’s intentional experimentation in translating the cumbersome nature of rolling a massive ball—aptly named the Katamari—into an immersive player experience. Unfortunately, this approach, combined with a few questionable design decisions, results in a final product that feels noticeably jankier than its competitors: - Unintuitive controls, even on their alternative, modernized setting. Playing on controller is almost required, as mouse and keyboard is borderline unplayable - The ball loses size with even minor collisions at low acceleration - It’s easy to get stuck into geometry between larger objects, shrinking your ball until you manage to break free - Some mechanics—such as climbing or the conditions under which you can boost—are left vague, leading to confusion and even poorer control - Difficulty seeing the positioning of the player character as the ball increases in size - Significant repetition of stages - A few needlessly frustrating side missions that can reset progress if an off-screen object is accidentally picked up - All of the above results in an experience that can become stressful and infuriating, especially in the later stages
However
Everything about the art direction is simply fantastic , so much so that it makes the jank worth tolerating just for the sensory treat.
Conclusion
Ambitious experimentation as well as questionable design choices resulted in a janky, mechanically flawed game, which also had such a strong art direction that made all the flaws worth tolerating and deservedly earned it a cult following. Final Score: 7.5/10

I LOVE KATAMARI DAMACY
Loved this game back then, love it still now!
Can't control the camera and the FOV is garbage, can't see a damn thing. You might as well play this game blindfolded.
