Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 7 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Roll ball around. Pick up things. Make bigger ball. Roll more things.

This is a very broken port of the game. Good job, Namco. 🙄
Keep Rolling
What's not to love? You roll up things in your ball and grow progressively bigger, or tasked with collecting a particular type of item. And the music is great. Also it's unique, not a lot of games in the "push a ball around and collect things with it and make your ball as big as possible" genre.
i feel like a knick knack dung beetle rolling my treasure
Katamari Damacy REROLL is a joyful and whimsical remaster of the cult classic from the early 2000s, bringing the quirky, colorful, and utterly unique gameplay to modern audiences with fresh visuals and smoother controls. At its heart, the game is an exercise in charming absurdity: you control the tiny Prince tasked by the King of All Cosmos to rebuild the stars by rolling a magical adhesive ball, called a Katamari, across a variety of environments. The concept is delightfully simple but endlessly engaging, and REROLL revitalizes this experience without losing the original’s infectious spirit. One of the first things that stands out in Katamari Damacy REROLL is its vibrant and surreal art style. The colorful, low-poly aesthetic has been lovingly polished, with brighter textures and higher resolution that pop beautifully on modern screens. The characters maintain their signature quirky designs, from the peculiar King’s flamboyant gestures to the Prince’s adorable stoicism. The levels themselves—ranging from messy bedrooms and offices to sprawling cityscapes and fantastical realms—are filled with a wide variety of everyday and bizarre objects that you’ll roll up as the Katamari grows. The scale shift as you go from rolling up thumbtacks to entire buildings never loses its charm, and the updated visuals make it easier to appreciate the quirky details that made the original so beloved. Gameplay revolves around controlling the Katamari ball as it rolls across stages, collecting objects that stick to it and gradually increase its size. The core mechanic is brilliantly simple yet deeply satisfying. The challenge arises from how you manage your momentum, direction, and size to meet specific goals within time limits. As the Katamari grows, your ability to pick up larger objects expands, creating a gratifying progression from tiny trinkets to cars, trees, and eventually entire city blocks or landscapes. The controls in REROLL have been tightened up significantly compared to the original, offering smoother camera movement and more responsive rolling, which helps reduce frustration and keeps the focus on the playful experimentation that the game encourages. The soundtrack is a standout element, a hallmark of the Katamari series that’s been lovingly preserved and even enhanced in REROLL. It features an eclectic mix of upbeat J-pop, funky grooves, jazzy instrumentals, and quirky vocals that perfectly complement the game’s whimsical tone. Each track is catchy and memorable, contributing greatly to the overall mood and helping immerse players in this bizarre yet lovable world. Music changes dynamically with the scale of the Katamari and the progression of the level, adding an extra layer of excitement and satisfaction as you grow bigger and bigger. While the game is largely casual and accessible, it offers surprising depth through its level design and objectives. Each stage has unique layouts, time constraints, and size goals that keep the gameplay fresh and challenging. There’s a subtle skill curve in learning how to navigate tight spaces, avoid obstacles, and plan your rolling path to maximize efficiency. Additionally, the quirky humor, unexpected object combinations, and eccentric characters make every minute spent in the game a delight. For newcomers, REROLL is an excellent introduction to the series, while returning fans will appreciate the faithful recreation with improved polish. The remaster includes additional quality-of-life improvements such as higher resolution support, improved load times, and modernized UI elements, which all contribute to a more comfortable experience without compromising the original’s charm. However, it retains the intentionally playful and somewhat clunky feel that defines Katamari Damacy’s unique appeal. The controls and camera, though refined, can still present a slight learning curve, but this becomes part of the fun as you master the quirky physics of rolling your Katamari through increasingly complex environments. In conclusion, Katamari Damacy REROLL is a joyous celebration of creativity, color, and absurdity that manages to preserve the magic of the original while bringing it into the modern era. It’s a perfect blend of simple mechanics, whimsical design, and catchy music that can appeal to players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re rolling up pencils and paperclips for the first time or rediscovering the King of All Cosmos’s bizarre world, REROLL offers a uniquely charming experience that remains as fresh and delightful today as it was when first released. It’s a must-play for fans of quirky indie games and anyone looking for a dose of lighthearted fun. Rating: 9/10
I love this game and i always have. I beat the very original multiple times and own the game still. Then beat it multiple times on Nintendo switch and then beat it again on steam. This game is a hidden gem.
good game, but really annoying that you cant access settings until you finish the tutorial also make sure you enable steam input if youre using a pro controller otherwise the game literally wont detect it (keyboard controls are horrible, you cant even remap keybinds to arrow keys)
What a privilege to experience an undeniably simple joy executed with such infectious passion
