cute little plant game nice vibe forget sad
Kasi is a relaxing game about directing a plant to grow how you want it. The controls are very simple and so are the mechanics once you learn them. Each part of a plant you can click and drag to grow into branches, leaves, vines, flowers, fruit, etc. It's a calming and enjoyable experience that makes me wish that this game was more well known. What makes me really happy is the philosophy behind this game. Kasi is actually a word in a minimalist constructed language known as Toki Pona. (Kasi simply meaning "plant"). One of the major aspects of Toki Pona is that communication can become clear and precise using only a few, simple words. I feel like this game captures that well. There's a lot of little things that you can learn as you play or by reading the in-game guide that will teach you how to keep using these simple mechanics to build something beautiful and complex. (Also some in-game text and the achievements are in Toki Pona as well, try translating them if you can!) If you like relaxing games or interesting indie titles, then please, please, please give this game a try, I love it.
This game is great for relaxing without having to worry about stressful survival elements. The difficulty elements currently present in the game are displayed in a way that limits your from being able to do anything all at once while still allowing you to sit back and do nothing. At the moment, what I believe this game needs is a optimization update, as currently the more complicated plants can start to degrade the performance of the simulation. That being said, the game continues to be very enjoyable to play during times where I do not desire the fast pace of CS2 or the significant complexity of Factorio or Rimworld.
it is a good simulation but it was kinda abandoned
OK
Living out my dreams of being an actual plant
An amazing game that's in all honesty worth way more than $5, genuinely just such a chill and relaxing game for basically nothing.
