Reviews
there are so many thigs to improve on in this game but ill start off with the things i like: things i like: i havent played all of the tracks but i have high hopes for them, ill edit this review when i play all of them. the weather modes feel vibrant and alive i love that obsticles are togglable now the controls on controller feel amazing, steer too hard and spin out, steer as soft as you can and you're fine! i 100% respect this as an arcade game, personally i dont think EXTREME raytracing graphics/fsr or dlss is needed for a game like this i adore the feeling when you're 45kph+ and if you move the controller a bit too much, you doo a 360 and crash into the wall £ 10 for this game is ABSOLUTELY REASONABLE tbh i wouldnt have paid 20 and ten is just in that sweet spot of an impulsive buy but you know the developer knows and values the game's longevity what still needs improving: THE BOTS STILL DRIVE BACKWARDS, this has been an issue since the demo release! please fix it, its annoying add advanced graphics options, i dont even need a ui for it, just add things like aa, ssao, gtao, shadows, light shafts, foliage density and lod PLEASE add racing wheel support, you might know from my first game review but the ONLY reason my friend didnt play the demo was because no racing wheel support, that is one way to make at least another £7 when u use my mouse on my keyboard, my controller un focuses and i need to restart the game to get it working again. no replay, your personal best ghosts and multiplayer (but you said that you were working on mp already) mabye some more advertising, i only found your game because i scrolled far enough down on steam indie games! overall: i have high hopes for the future support and community of this game and i hope that this purchace will help you continue updating the game!
6/10 – Solid bumper-car chaos on wheels. I spent more time kissing guardrails than racing and honestly the guardrails deserved it. Keyboard controls feel like I’m steering a shopping cart on ice but plug in a controller and suddenly I’m a mildly competent demolition artist. Fun with friends, friendships optional. Follow me for high-speed chaos, friendship-ending corners, and racing games where the barriers are your real opponents. 🏁💥 https://store.steampowered.com/curator/42602807-Osiris-Reviews/
My Final Thoughts:

“For £11.79 (now £6.69) Karting4Fun needs to deliver a LOT more depth and content to be good value. It qualifies now as a realistic SimCade, which focuses on fun, but all you can do right now is race & set the AI strength (I recommend Dynamic). It only supports controllers ATM; would be nice to see more devices like wheels & pedals added (it is I think nearly good enough). It tries to stand out by focussing on Fun! But fails to deliver this by restricting track access in favour of an unlock Grind System. Realism at a glance: Close. Early game feels: Overly twitchy.”

Fun Rating
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (8/10)
Realism Rating
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐☆☆☆☆ (6/10)
Overall Rating
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐☆☆☆☆ (6/10)

🍿 CLICK HERE...TO WATCH HONEST REVIEW 🍿 CLICK HERE...TO WATCH REAL GAMEPLAY
OVERVIEW

What is it?
🔵 A basic, Single Player, Kart Racing SimCade designed for Fun!
What do you do?
🔵 You Race against up-to 16 AI.
Core systems:
🔵 3 tracks raced in both directions. 🔵 1st track is the only unlocked track to start. 🔵 Require race points to unlock more (Gained through Racing).
What makes it unique?
🔵Unapologetic desire to have fun, even if it detracts from the Sim like environment.
Realism baseline (pre-evaluation):
🔵 But for handling and audio, it is quite realistic. 🔵 With a little more polish it could be very realistic.
STAR FEATURES
⭐ It is instantly Fun to race. ⭐ Physics/Handling are almost there. ⭐ No frills, just racing.
REVIEW

Graphics:
✔️ It won't win any awards for its graphics. Kart models are decent enough for a SimCade. ✔️ Tracks are fictitious and equally average, but good enough for SimCade. ❌ No real dynamic weather or conditions to discuss, just a handful of light alterations.
Audio:
✔️ Kart engine audio is OK, could be improved. ❌ Lacks collisions audio. ❌ No tyre screeching. ❌ No Crash Audio.
Performance:
✔️ Solid performance on max settings in 4K @60fps. ✔️ No stability issues. ✔️ No bugs to speak of. ❌ Very limited control or settings options, but should run fine on almost any system.
Immersion:
❌ It completely lacks immersion for numerous reasons: Mostly the lack of audio & no wheel/pedal support.
Realism:
✔️ Once you get used to the controls, it does show elements of realism. ✔️ MAX AI is aggressive and gives you ZERO quarter (Which I like). ❌ Some areas of the handling felt a little off and are in need of a tweak. ❌ Physics whilst not 100% authentic, do enough to feel realistic.
Gameplay Systems:
✔️ Very basic and lacking in depth ATM. (EA, so needs to focus heavily on improving this). ✔️ I liked how aggressive and unforgiving the AI were. ❌ Some evidence that they will spin and drive the wrong way on occasions (Not good at turning around). ❌ A bit of a serious grind to unlock new tracks. Should consider career mode or seasons and open all.
Value for Money:
❌ At this price, I expect to see a lot more content and depth added. ❌ Multiplayer is missing. ❌ No career mode/season mode. ❌ No ability to adjust kart or drivers clothing. ❌ Not enough tracks.
Controls / Handling:
✔️ Not ACC standard aby any means, but a realistic pick up and play style SimCade. ✔️ On a controller it was very much a flicking motion to get good control. ✔️ One mistake and you're Podium to last! (I like this) ❌ Strange 90 degree flip out happened quite a lot.
AI Behaviour:
✔️ AI on Max are a challenge, mostly because of their aggressive nature (Good). ✔️ On the most part I had no complaints of the AI, even when they clearly blocked me.
Developer Feedback
💡 Needs more: Tracks, kart & Driver adjustments, seasons/career mode. 💡 Kart physics need a tweak & Audio needs enhancing. 💡 Add additional support for wheels and pedals. ⚠️ STEAM is rife with fake & copy/paste Reviews, Forums are Toxic & Endorse Censorship! ⚠️ Join Our Curator for more HONEST REVIEWS https://store.steampowered.com/curator/17010841-Sim-UK
KEY

🔵 POI ✔️ POSITIVES ❌ NEGATIVES 💡 IDEA 🍿 VIDEO ⭐ STAR ITEM ⚠️ NOTE

✅ Tags: #Simulation #Realism #Immersive
There is some promise here, good handling, nice tracks, cool sense of speed as well as some okay visuals. BUT The AI is probably some of the worst I've seen in a racing game like... ever... like as bad as the budget PS1/2 era slop racers. I have played every track and done each race and there was not a single race where I didn't see one of the CPU drivers driving THE WRONG WAY crashing into other cpus or even me. Absolutely infuriating that this was clearly an issue in the demo as noted by reviewers but still hasn't been fixed :/
Highly recommended to everyone! You won't regret it.
Let me try to convince you point by point why this game is worth buying. The good:

Realistic kart handling on asphalt: The controls are sharp and responsive—you really need to keep the engine revs up. It feels authentic.
Pleasant graphics with great atmosphere: The environments are well-crafted. Objects like tires, boxes, and pallets behave realistically, and the nature elements (trees, bushes, grass) are animated and detailed. It’s beautiful both in motion and when stationary. The backgrounds also add to the unique vibe of each location—it really pulls you into the world.
Surprisingly great track design: It’s clear the developer either races karts themselves or consulted someone who does. The tracks are narrow and twisty in just the right way, with sharp turns and jumps, yet they allow you to build and maintain high speed. Each track also has a “reverse” layout, which shows the dev understands competitive racing nuances.
Surprisingly competent AI: Even on the Expert difficulty, the AI puts up a good, smart challenge.
Fantastic split-screen multiplayer: Played with my brother using gamepads. We laughed like crazy, had an absolute blast, and this is exactly the kind of game we’d come back to again and again.
The not-so-good (keep in mind it’s Early Access):

Limited content so far: Only 3 tracks + 3 reverse layouts. No kart or character customization yet. The leaderboard is active but only shows about 10–12 names around your score, and you can’t scroll through it fully. Also, there’s no option to set lap records—only Time Attack mode with a 3-lap total time from a standing start.
Optimization needs work: On a laptop with RTX 4050, i5-12450H, 16 GB RAM, running at 4K on a TV, it struggles to maintain 30–40 FPS with 16 karts on track. Definitely needs optimization, as pretty as it looks.
Some odd kart collisions: While karts feel nimble and responsive even at high speed due to their light weight, sometimes collisions feel off. Hitting another kart or a static object at high speed can send you flying upward as if the kart weighs half what it should.
Sound design is lacking: Impact sounds are weak—not punchy or realistic at all. Engine sounds are too whiny and lack that satisfying kart roar.
Gamepad is a must: Haven’t even tried keyboard, but trust me—to really enjoy this, use a gamepad.

Final thoughts:
For an Early Access title, this is very promising. Solid foundation, definitely room to grow. I do recommend it. The current price might be a bit high by 10–15%, but if the devs polish what’s listed above, it could easily be worth $20 at full release. I encourage you to support the developer, grab the game, and enjoy some seriously fun racing evenings :)
This will be the first review for a game I've written but I feel like it is necessary. I understand this game is early access and many changes are to come, but this game is starting in a horrible state. CONS: I have played the demo to this game and was honestly excited for the game's release until I realized there was practically no change to the AI. The AI on this game is hardly challenging, as even on its most difficult setting their only way of defending is swerving back and forth across the track. The game tries to compensate for their lack of difficulty by forcing the player to start at the end of the lineup and making AI absolutely intolerable to try and push by. Multiple times, in the demo and in the current version of the game, once the AI decides its had enough, IT WILL DRIVE THE TRACK BACKWARDS, it completely ruins the flow and makes racing a lot less enjoyable. Next, my first couple races included AI RACERS RANDOMLY SPAWNING INFRONT OF ME, it happened 3 times in one race, 2 of which instances the racer was about 5 feet ahead of me at 0 speed, causing me to be forced to brake hard/lose control of the vehicle = lose position, and 1 of which instances the racer was spawned in ON TOP OF MY KART, obviously ruined the race for me. THEIR IS LITTLE TO NO CONTROLLER SUPPORT, the most optimal way to play is keyboard, while this is fine for most, this is not what I expected of a karting game. This game is also clearly LITTLE EFFORT PUT INTO IT, the maps are ugly and the program is sloppy, including the fact this has honestly one of the most difficult UIs ive ever seen. The fact there is no pause to this game is also mildly frustrating, but nothing too major. PROS: Its difficult to tell with a lack of controller support but the handling and physics feel good and strong on the karts. The use of obstacles is a fun and entertaining part to the game. While I have left a lot of negative comments, this game can be enjoyable if you dont take it too seriously and let it be fun, and it was honestly fun in its demo phase, I just have yet to see it be truly enjoyable. I will continue to play this game and test further, and if I decide this comment needs to be changed then I will happily change it, I want this game to do good. However, this game is currently unenjoyable, even for the cheap price, this is a quick, scrapped together mess of a game that needs a lot of improvement before it decides to full release. Obviously the mentioned instances of in game difficulties can bias my opinion, but I can honestly not recommend this game to anyone even trying to enjoy a fun arcade game.
This game is super fun in local coop. Id like to see this game evolve over time. Better graphics, better steering and online MP are needed, but I understand its early access but it has HUGE potential to be a super fun and good looking game. Bugs: - Local Multiplayer resetting (you often reset the other player or vise versa) - The "GO" text is sometimes still displayed while racing - Other AIs resetting into you Improvements: - maybe after resetting you can clip through other players for a short time until the area clears around you so karts dont pile up on one spot - AIs notice you driving in the inner or outer lane and stop pushing you - Players could have different outfits or team colors - ONLINE MULTIPLAYER! - Steering feels mushy (absolutely playable, but mushy) - More settings regarding controls/graphics, choosing the screen for the game Highly fun game, I recommend!
Oyun gayet güzel geldi bana erken erişimden dolayı tabiiki hatalar olacak öncelikle direksiyon fazla hassas bir anda çevirip 360 dönme ihtimaliniz var. Tam sürüm geldiği zaman multiplayerde keyifli vakit geçirebilecek bir oyun olabilir potansiyelli.
really fun could add some more maps and maybe different colors for the racers to differentiate between them but that'll prolly come further down the line only minor complaint is bots driving backwards but it adds to the chaos of it
