This game is wonderful. A bit of a tile-based combat puzzle like Into The Breach. Really funny writing. Unique styling and art. It's a mechanically sharp game with numerous artistic cherries on top.
Just started and played the first few levels but the style and art is great, definitely worth your time if you like Into the Breach and those types of games.
I don't really have anything good to say about this game. The art style is hard to look at for long periods of time, the gameplay feels like this is more of a bad puzzle game where you need to repeat the level over and over to memorize the actions the kaiju will take compared than anything actually tactical, the story is poorly written with bad jokes, it's just overall not a good time. It's not too hard of a game, sure, (except the impossible hard mode levels) but the difficult never feels fair, it feels like you should be looking up a guide the entire time but, heh, no one has really ever made any. Wonder why that might be? Even for how cheap this game is, it's just not worth your time. I've requested a refund, and was so turned off by the design of this game that I requested refunds for the other games by the same dev that I also purchased, without ever having tried them. Spend your money elsewhere.

Great concept, poor execution. After a few missions in, it really just doesn't have enough variety from mission to mission. Even worse is how slow it all moves - I burned out on this about half way through because of it. Shame, because the art and music were really sweet. Gameplay is all that really matters in the end.

Jak hluboce jsem se mýlil, jde o velice sofistikovanou tahovou strategii, jež má hlavu, patu, snadné ovládání, skvělý vizuál a dobrou hudbu. Sad to say it, but this is a mess. A cacophony of disparate, poor visual design with mismatched art-styles and horrible visual effects. The sound department is even worse, with notable mention to the SFX that plays during the "Black Ops" card. How is it possible that any sane designer thought to themselves that that sound effect could even be used in dark lit rooms to get info ut of prisioners of war, breaking 39 geneva conventions in one go, let alone to use it on a video game. The gameplay, which should be the main attraction in this genre, is scrapply designed at best. The less said about the story, or better yet, this ""game"" as a whole, the better. Just don't play this, not even for free, not now nor ever.
Fun, Advance Wars X Kaiju game. Love the style and deck builder element. Very tight and easy to pick up type strategy game.
Unfortunately I was looking for a tiny tactic style game similar to Tiny Metal or Wargroove. This game is very much a puzzle solver and a difficult puzzle solver at that. Much of the gameplay revolves around simply trying to distract or force the kaiju to move around the board in a slow enough fashion to earn enough break through points to complete the objective. There really isn't much tactics here just problem solving.
It's pretty good, the soundtrack and graphics remind of the nes game Godzilla: Monster of Monsters. And I see some inspiration from the game Valkyria Chronicles here too, with how the Campaign selection menu is set up. The actual gameplay mechanics seem to be their own thing in how Kaiju attack and how you defeat them.
i love this game but they need to fix the U.F.O. the bug where you can end the turn is annoying
