My idea is early access means gameplay will likely be massive changed, but Kaidogaku the puzzle is essentially completed. QoLs and bugfixes will come but I rather not give empty promise on new content. I do intended to keep the game alive and will add new gameplay elements if I found they are fun. No DLC is planned. I would assure new updates will always be part of the full game.
Nice to have features, are under baking:
Weekly/Daily challenge with a fixed set of symbol distribution, to see how well you compete with other players under the same circumstances. Need more play data to fine tune the experience.
User adjustable puzzle generator
New placement rules and board configurations, in very early brainstorming stage.

Kaidogaku is a quietly brilliant symbolic deduction puzzle that rewards pattern thinking with flexible logic; it’s easy to pick up for a quick session and deep enough to chew on for a while. The game’s mix of three distinct rule styles, multiple board sizes, and a forgiving “any valid solution” philosophy makes it feel fresh every time. Kaidogaku’s name is a neat mashup of Kaidoku (解読, deciphering) and Kagaku (科学, science), and that combination captures the tone: methodical, curious, and a little academic. The presentation is clean and unpretentious; menus and palettes are functional, and the symbol sets are charming in a low-key way. At its core, Kaidogaku asks you to decipher symbol positions using a set of placement rules. There are three rule styles, each demanding a different approach: one leans on local constraints, another on global counts, and the third mixes both in ways that force you to rethink assumptions. The twist that sets Kaidogaku apart is that there isn’t always a single “correct” board—any placement that satisfies the rules counts as solved, which turns speed and pattern recognition into real advantages. That design choice makes the game feel less like brute-force logic and more like creative deduction. The game offers procedurally-generated puzzles across five board sizes (5×5 through 13×13), allowing you to choose from a quick warm-up to a sprawling, mind-bending puzzle; the 13×13 cap appears to be a practical limit tied to screen space rather than a design intent. There are 40+ achievements and 15 leaderboards covering every rule/style/size combination, which gives a surprising amount of meta-goals for a minimalist puzzle title. Color palettes and multiple symbol sets keep the visual experience from going stale, and there’s even an option to import your own symbols for a personal touch. Kaidogaku shines in accessibility: full native gamepad support plus complete mouse and keyboard control means you can play however you like. The UI is responsive, and the input model is forgiving—keyboard, click, or button-press, and the game keeps up. There’s no progression grind or pressure; it’s designed for short, satisfying sessions. If you enjoy logic puzzles but hate the rigidity of single-solution games, Kaidogaku is a refreshing alternative. It rewards flexible thinking, pattern fluency, and speed, while offering enough variety to stay interesting. The lack of a forced progression system makes it ideal for casual play, but the leaderboards and achievements give competitive players something to chase. For anyone who likes puzzles that feel like small experiments in reasoning, Kaidogaku is worth a look. Kaidogaku is a gem of a puzzle game—simple in concept but incredibly creative and challenging in execution. The symbolic deduction mechanics are brilliantly designed, and the way it highlights possible solutions is spot-on, making playing so satisfying without ever feeling frustrating. The controls are buttery smooth whether you're using mouse, keyboard, or gamepad, and the relaxing in-game environment (with charming symbol sets) creates the perfect vibe in pure logic. Best of all, each puzzle can be tackled and completed in a short session, making it ideal for quick brain-teasing breaks. If you love deduction puzzles like Sudoku but want something fresh and elegant, this is a must-play. Great job, dev—can't wait for more updates!
This puzzle game has an elegant simplicity to it. Gameplay is roughly comparable to sudoku. I kept coming back for the achievement challenges, which ask the player to solve larger and larger puzzles in short and super-short times. As of this writing, I've unlocked all achievements except for the holiday-season one--that will have to wait until December.
A fun logic puzzle that's as good as the previous reviewers noted. Nice graphics, gameplay, and lots of puzzles. It's similar to Everett Kaser's PC game Knarly Combs, and if you like his logic games you'll like this one.
