Right this minute, I have to say "no" to this game. Because it feels like an EARLY version of an early-access release, not like a full-release version of a game. There are still TOO MANY bugs and glitches in the game. The developer is still actively working on fixes as they get reported, but for a full-release game these bugs are SO OBVIOUS they never should have been left in the game. So my actual suggestion is to WAIT another two or three months before you buy. Hopefully by then most of the serious bugs will be ironed out so the game will feel more fun. The game is VERY casual, sort of low-poly FPS style. But instead of shooting bad guys, you're destroying furniture, landscaping, etc. Go at your own pace, there is no timer and no rush. It's more like ASMR than a video game, really. You have a laser gun to destroy things. Things drop resources (parts) when they get destroyed. Your laser gun has a vacuum attachment to pull in the resources. You also have a laser grenade and a vacuum grenade. You can upgrade the laser gun, vacuum gun, laser grenade, and vacuum grenade a bit, but at max upgrade it's not really a big difference. When you clear all the resources in an area, you go back to your home dimension, which has various portals you can spend resources to unlock. The portals let you access new areas with different items and resources. You can also RESET each area from your home dimension, giving you a chance to destroy it again and gather the same resources again. The game also has a CRAFTING system, some of the items you need to unlock new upgrades or portals will require a few crafted items. The crafting is pretty simple and self explanatory, there are only half a dozen recipes and it shows you exactly what you need and exactly what you'll get. And it lets you multi-craft so you can get multiple copies of the same items in a single push of the "craft it" button. So it's not a bad game, though it will get boring after 20 minutes because each new area is just new scenery with the exact same goals: laser EVERYTHING to death and collect all the resources it drops. But it's also casual and relaxing... if you need "brainless simplicity" for a little while, this is exactly that. But there are still a few frustrating bugs that need to be fixed. So wait until they get fixed (should be SOON because they're very simple bugs to fix) before you buy this game. Or buy it, but then don't play it until they fix most of the bugs.
Slow and simple but for a couple bucks it kept my hands busy while I caught up on a podcast.
Hope to see more content for this game, or even just from this developer. If you like games like Powerwash Sim and Crime Scene Cleaner this will probably scratch that same itch. It did for me anyway.
Relaxed, enjoyable, and satisfying! However I dismantled all 5 maps in my first hour.. I very much wish there was more to the game. It was the most fun at the end; there really needs to a bigger map to fully appreciate all of the final tier upgrades! A few things I noticed that could help improve the game (besides more content): 1. Tree's materials tend to stay in the air; I had the hardest time trying to reach the upper floating materials on the Forest level, but it was obnoxious the whole playthrough--having to look up and try to find the materials..which leads to the next point. 2. Item view distance was really low. Not sure if there's a setting for that...but sometimes I wouldn't see materials until I was already on top of them. A lot of the time you'd have to be 20 feet away to see the materials on the ground, or floating.. and if they are floating, that seemingly "20 foot rendering radius" becomes even more annoying. 3. Cleared map prompt; dismantling the last object prompts you to change maps before picking up those last materials. Choosing to "Stay" seems like an obvious answer with materials sitting right behind the prompt window! Moreover, when you hit "Stay", there's no clear way to change levels. I found if I hit "Quit Game", I'd go back to the Hub world. A simple solution to this confusion could be changing the "Quit Game" button to read "Change World" (so long as you're not at the Hub of course). 4. One of the help messages I got in my first 5 minutes or so was about how to quit the game. This felt a little awkward..almost like I was being told to quit. It's good to know it will save and you can quit whenever, but maybe it just felt too soon? xD And more importantly, I don't think I was ever instructed on how to upgrade... maybe I missed it, but I need to know how to upgrade before anyone mentions quitting! Especially in this type of game..
Not bad. Nice little "clean" up game. Took just over 2 hours to 100%. Wish there were more than 5 maps.
4 hours of mid level fun. Would be more interesting with more upgrades and crafting depth.
Let me just start by saying, for 3$ this game is an absolute steal. Sure, you will only get 4 hours of playtime with it and max out, but honestly this game is so much fun!! I don't know how this doesn't have more reviews and plays. It is a relaxing game where you Dismantle (surprise surprise) different materials, craft up new materials, and upgrade your stuff to do it better! Not to mention, unlock new and bigger maps. And the grind is perfect, its not too much, not too little. You will never have to repeat a map to unlock the next one, and most maps (if not all maps) have items from the previous maps so you don't need to go back! Genuinely one of the best dopamine sink games I've played. I would love to see more maps, and upgrades, but I love it!!! BUY THIS GAME!!!
I enjoyed it, but be warned, you will be holding down your mouse button for a loooooooooooooong time.
Fantastic little game! Alas its lacking options, i need to rebind keys. And saving every 2 min or so is annoying because every time i get turned in random direction even if im not moving the mouse. Btw the mouse sensitivity is FAR TO HIGH 0,03 and lowering DPI on my mouse is normal desktop speed... When entering the game its ear hurting loud, BEWARE HEADPHONE USERS. But overall i like it and recommend it to encourage making more dismantle games. With more content and technically better :)
Nice lil game to pass time, main problem was after a while my fingers hurt from holding down the mouse buttons too long, perhaps make there an auto beam and auto vacuum upgrade that you can toggle or a smart trigger upgrade that only starts when pointed at an object it can affect
