June's Journey: Hidden Objects

Storyline is fun, some tasks still impossible The special rounds, like Detective Partners and Sweep the Board are next to impossible and will tell you to find objects that aren’t there. One round it will ask you to find something, and then it will never ask you to find that thing again, which means the object was never there. Zooming in and moving the screen around does not make the word light up like it’s supposed to, which means the object isn’t there. There’s never a free hint when the game asks you to find a nonexistent object, further proof that the object was never there. It is a scheme to steal diamonds and money. The Secrets levels are impossible to pass. The 13th round of this recent Secrets contest gives you less than 1% progress for a perfect round. I make almost no progress even with 20x the points. Good gameplay yields no rewards. Sometimes the object is covered by the word. I just had to spend 35 diamonds on Sweep the Board because it said “times up” even though I clicked the last object with one second remaining. I routinely have to click objects more than once to find them, which wastes time. Sometimes more than one type of item is given the same name. For example, sometimes a wooden arrow sticking up from the ground is called a signpost and sometimes it’s called an arrow. Sweep the Board used to be challenging but possible to win. After the feedback survey, it has been impossible. I doubt anyone said “Sweep the Board is too easy. I hate winning things. Please make it impossible so I can waste my time and diamonds.” I don’t even play the extra games anymore because it’s just a frustrating experience that I don’t need. The clubs are fraudulent. One of the clubs competing this week “earned” over 14,000 league points on the first day before there was even a competition. It should also be easier to get rid of club members who are inactive and don’t contribute, so that active players can join the club. This game has stolen countless diamonds and energy, it’s ridiculous. Luckily I never paid for anything in this game, and you shouldn’t pay either. I will never give money to cheaters and scammers. Don’t waste your money or time!

Purchasing I really like the game and have been playing for a while. I’ve been making some purchasing especially during the memoirs. I know there’s no guarantee of getting new memoirs you haven’t gotten. I realize this is a way to get you to make more purchases. However, I’m really starting to wonder if in game purchases are really worth it. My opinion is if players making purchases received more items they didn’t already have it would make them want to make more purchases. I love the game and will continue playing but will seriously be thinking prior to making more purchases. 5-14-26 I really like this game but lately they are having entirely too many competitions. In order to keep up you have to play non-stop. It’s no longer a relaxing game to play but more stressful. Please make the game relaxing again by cutting down on the comps instead of being rushed and stressful.

Great Game, But Team Chat Needs Improvement I love almost everything about June’s Journey. The storyline is engaging, the side games are fun, and the team competitions add a great social and strategic element. It’s one of the few games I consistently enjoy playing. My only major issue is the chat area when communicating with teammates. It is not user-friendly at all. It does not allow copy and paste, it constantly creates typos, it changes words to things I did not mean to type, and sometimes it even cuts off my sentences. Since teamwork and communication are such an important part of the game, the chat feature really needs improvement. Overall, I love the game, but the teammate chat needs to be much easier and more reliable to use.

Swimmer Awesome game! I have been playing for over 5 yrs.

Unwelcome changes I really like this game but lately they are making too many changes and ruining the fun. We used to get 24 hours of bonus shield time for the detective event. I took advantage of that time and was always able to do a lot. It didn’t make the event easy. My group has only completed it one time. But it made it fun to try. They took that away and now we can’t even come close so I don’t even try. During the last partners event. They gave us 100 extra event energy to start. I got all my partners and started the event. I had made good progress and then they took the event down and restarted it. I had to get new partners and started the event over. I complained and they gave me either 50 or 100 energy. Which didn’t make up for all the work I had put in. During this partnership event, they have lowered all the amounts on the spinning wheel and raised all the amount on the scenes from 36,500 to 50,000. So now you need a total of 54,000 more points(13,500 per scene x 4) to complete the event but lowered the amount of points you can get with each spin. In the scent event this week, there are 18 levels. Too many. They are also running 4 events at a time almost constantly. It’s starting to feel like a job not a fun game. Please slow down. Give us 1-2 events at a time. Change the event back to what they used to be. Stop making them harder. We play to have fun not get stressed out. And when you make a mistake like taking an event down and making everyone start over, give people a big bonus for the trouble it caused them. A month ago, I would have given this game 5 stars, today. I love the game but.. I really enjoy playing June's Journey, but the Detective Partners mini-game is becoming very frustrating, especially for new players. Having only 20 seconds to find objects isn't enough time when many of the object names are unfamiliar or use older or very specific terms. I often don't know what I'm supposed to be looking for. Some of the items are old-fashioned musical instruments, hats, or other objects that I've never heard of before. As a new player, I simply don't have that knowledge yet. Because of the short timer, I have to restart over and over, which wastes my energy and breaks my streak. It also makes it difficult to progress through the game. I understand that experienced players at level 1,000 or higher may recognize these object names, but new players are at a huge disadvantage. I love this game and want to keep playing, but I think the mini-games should be balanced better for newer players. Either give us more time or adjust the difficulty based on a player's level. Not everyone has the experience to identify every object in just 20 seconds, and not everyone can afford to spend money just to keep progressing. Please consider making the mini-games more accessible so that new players can enjoy them too. Decorations ...I have a suggestion for decorations that I think would make island decorating much more enjoyable. It would be amazing if we could rotate decorations to change the direction they face. It would also be great if seasonal decorations earned from event boxes came in different color and pattern variations, or if we could customize them after unlocking them. I know I’m not the only player who wants a more aesthetic-looking island. I’ve seen other comments from players who feel the same way. Right now, it often feels like the only way to decorate is to place lots of items, which can make the island look cluttered. For those of us who prefer a more minimalistic style, I’d love to have larger or more customizable decorations that may cost more flowers but create a cleaner, less busy look while still being able to level up the same as it is right now.

Sooo Expensive The game lies. I don’t know how else to say it. They constantly advertise something but rarely follow through. Everything costs and they move clues around on you. Only download this game if you want constant irritation.

Fun game but… This game is really but I find that the response time when tapping on items is extremely delayed or requires tapping multiple times. Which is very frustrating considering the games are timed and loosing valuable seconds just trying to tap items. Definitely makes the game less enjoyable.

Manipulation and Greed The game is fun. I’ll start with that. The one star is not because the game isn’t a fun hidden object game. The one star is for all of the red tape that the developers have all over this game. They are complete cheats, manipulators, and they think their players are stupid. What’s stupid is the storyline of a narcissist heroin named June who wears a tacky outfit in every scene while everybody else changes. They also don’t think we’re educated enough to know that their reference to half of the stuff they talk about or use as objects weren’t even invented at the term of the 20th century when supposedly the storyline takes place. So we won’t even get started on their bad history . Skip through the storyline by just hitting top to continue. It’s not worth it. Now they try to push a book on us. Is this a game? Sometimes you have to ask because they’re focused on so many other things than what’s made them popular. I will give the artists that work for the developers credit for a job well done on decorations. In conclusion, the game is fun to play. Just beware that they cheat you.
