Judero is a handmade Scottish folklore action adventure (and my personal pick for the James post-Peach Simulator). Made completely in stopmotion with claymation elements, papercraft elements, decent voice acting, and a good combat system. What will REALLY keep you here is the Scottish folklore, the uncanny art direction, the environments' styles, the enemy design, the characters, etc. It's all just enough to make me uncomfortable while being gorgeous in its own right, and my god, the music drives everything home in a custom-tailored package. There aren’t many games I’ve ever played that even come close to how this really feels to play.

I LOVE YOU JACK KING SPOONER
The amount of time, energy, love, and hard work put into this experience is staggering. I get that the style isn't the most universally smooth or "pretty" one in the world, but if that bothers you it is frankly a skill issue on your part. It is part of a wonderful, contemplative, philosophical, and deeply loving experience. Embrace it. There is a lot to chew on with this narrative, especially with the conversations you can have with people in their houses or with the complex characters you learn about in the side plots. It honestly feels like a piece of cultural heritage, especially with how many folk tales and traditions inspired it. Great contemplation of the nuances of human nature and experience.
this rocks so hard
Overall fun game. Boss fights are interesting, and you can always count on Jack King-Spooner's writing.
