This has been on my wishlist for years and I finally picked it up for a few bucks in the most recent sale. I heard this described as similar to High on Life, and I have to say, that's a very unfair comparison. This game is much more interesting and fun to explore and has more of a Tim and Eric humor vs the low effort cringy Rick and Morty humor of High on Life. The platforming mechanics are great. It's a fun challenge without being frustrating and very rewarding to explore. The shooting mechanics left a bit to be desired, but I also don't normally play shooters with a controller, so I don't know how much of that is me or the game. It's also relatively a small part of the game. Journey To The Savage Planet was a blast and well worth the few bucks I spent on it and well worth 100% collecting everything. Very solid 8/10 experience.
