About

STORY
In joiLAB, your friend Kiyomi controls the avatar Kimi, who is aware that you both are in an online game, despite being physically distant. Kimi frequently breaks the fourth wall, giving you a truly unique and interactive JOI (jerk-off instructions). Kimi is waiting, so don't keep her waiting too long!
Nod your head = Yes
Shake your head = No

CONTROLS
Designed for Meta Quest controllers, with compatibility for other controllers as well. Hand tracking is supported exclusively in the OpenXR version via Meta Quest Link.
😳👉👈 = Camera movement
Unfortunately, if you are an amputee or armless, you won't be able to use all the hand gestures, but you can still use the VR controller.
The controls are mirrored, allowing for one-handed play, then your other hand is free. If you have at least one hand, you can still enjoy the game.

Love it. Was curious about VR hentai games so I wanted to try one. Good first impressions. Sure there is some jank but I don't think it removes from the experience. Though the best part about this game is the voice acting. Who ever is voicing Kimi is amazing, I am a huge sucker for her accent with her character model fitting really well for her voice. The side games are fun too.
for 20 bucks it may be a keep worth keeping an eye on, it shows potential just hoping to see more content and just general polishing in the future, for now I think that if the game continues to receive updates and additional content give it a try, if not I would look for another game
i would pay 15 dollars again. add another girl and i will pay more money lol
Got this game after it launched and forgot to write a review. For what it was, it wasn't too bad, but for saying it is only a "tech demo" or "LAB" game, the price is way too high for the content you receive. If the dev ever decides to drop the price below 1,000 JPY, I might give it another shot and revise the review. Graphics were decent, level of interactivity wasn't bad, character is cute, some nice customization, shooting and movement mechanics are under-baked and not really used to progress or unlock anything which is a missed opportunity. All in all a pretty empty experience with some nice ideas that need extra work to justify the current price or a serious reduction in price for what is a personal project in it's current state.
Just a rather low quality game
the game is okay, for the price of 15USD it not too bad. its really short however make it all feel the same on different maps. i played both this and the demo and tbh, if you just want to "play around" just get the demo you're sadly not missing much. 6/10
Gameplay is ok for testing vr stuff, game can be further polished, such as interactions and actions and reactions with the character, customization, location options. Pretty neat sandbox for 10$. Would be a good starting point. Kimi is cute, do i recommend the game? Polish the animations, heroine, lighting, settings, HP bar and information then yes :>

JOI Lab VR is a niche virtual-reality experience that places immersion and interactivity above traditional gameplay structure, clearly positioning itself for an adult audience seeking presence rather than challenge. Developed by Caulino and published by Multisekai, the title sets expectations immediately: this is not a narrative-driven VR adventure or a mechanics-heavy simulation, but a curated set of interactive scenes designed to leverage motion controllers, proximity, and the feeling of being “in the room.” Its appeal rests almost entirely on how convincingly it uses VR’s strengths to deliver intimate, hands-on interaction. At its core, the experience functions more like a sandbox of scenarios than a conventional game. Players step into contained environments where interaction is the main draw, using tracked controllers to engage with characters and objects in real time. There are no win conditions, fail states, or objectives to complete; instead, the emphasis is on exploration of the interaction system itself. This design makes the experience approachable—there’s little to learn beyond basic VR controls—but it also means enjoyment hinges on how much value a player places on moment-to-moment presence rather than progression or variety. The interaction model is intentionally simple and tactile. Motion controllers are used for direct manipulation, with responsiveness tuned to feel immediate and intuitive rather than layered with complex inputs. When it works well, the sense of presence is convincing, and the experience benefits from VR’s ability to communicate scale, distance, and body language in ways flat-screen presentations can’t. That said, the scope of interactions remains focused and repetitive over time, as the systems do not meaningfully evolve or unlock deeper mechanics the longer you play. Content breadth is modest, which shapes the overall pacing and perceived value. Most players will see the bulk of what the experience offers within a relatively short window, after which repetition becomes apparent. There’s little in the way of structured progression—no branching paths, persistent upgrades, or narrative arcs—so replayability depends on personal interest rather than systemic incentives. For some, that makes the experience feel complete and self-contained; for others, it can feel thin compared to VR titles that provide longer-term engagement. Visually, JOI Lab VR aims for clarity and polish over spectacle. Character models and environments are presented cleanly, prioritizing readability and stable performance in VR. Lighting and staging are used to frame interactions effectively without overwhelming the player, which helps maintain comfort during longer sessions. The art direction is functional rather than ambitious, but it supports the experience’s goals by keeping focus on interaction and presence rather than environmental storytelling. Audio design plays a supporting role, reinforcing mood without dominating attention. Sound cues are subtle and purposeful, helping ground interactions and enhance immersion. There’s no emphasis on complex soundscapes or dynamic audio systems; instead, the audio complements the visuals and interactions in a way that feels restrained and appropriate for the experience’s intimate focus. Technically, the title does what it needs to do without overreaching. Controller tracking and basic interactions are implemented reliably, and performance is generally stable on supported VR setups. The absence of advanced locomotion systems or complex physics helps minimize discomfort and keeps the experience accessible, especially for players newer to VR. However, this technical simplicity also limits the sense of novelty once the initial immersion wears off. Community reception reflects the game’s narrow focus. Players who approach JOI Lab VR with expectations aligned to adult VR experiences—short, intimate, and interaction-focused—often find it polished and satisfying within that lane. Those expecting deeper systems, extended content, or traditional game structure tend to come away disappointed by its brevity and repetition. The divide underscores how crucial expectations are when evaluating the experience. Ultimately, JOI Lab VR succeeds by committing fully to its niche. It offers a focused, immersive adult VR experience that prioritizes presence and tactile interaction over mechanics, story, or longevity. While its limited scope and lack of progression prevent it from appealing to a broader VR audience, it delivers a clear, polished take on what it sets out to be. For players specifically seeking intimate VR interaction without complexity, it provides a concise, well-defined experience; for everyone else, its appeal will likely be brief and highly dependent on personal preference. 遊戲互動性算很高 可槍枝手持問題就.... 不過會玩這個的肯定不會想玩槍枝 所以沒啥差別
