About
Jitter is an immersive sci-fi exploration and survival game set on a mining colony and its outskirts in the Main Asteroid Belt. You assume the role of an experimental AI that maintains ship functions and engages with the crew on board. As you explore the mining colony, you will take on new missions, expand ships and bases using various modules, add survivors to your crew, engage in space fights, and repair the damage left by enemy fire and onboard accidents.
Asteroids, ships and outposts are susceptible to realistic damage and destruction, opening up strategic opportunities through emergent gameplay. Vaporize an asteroid blocking access to an enemy outpost, and the debris will damage its hulls. Or you.
Modify your spacecraft to fit your playstyle. Want more firepower? Attach a cannon module. Need to make a quick getaway? Jettison the modules that slow you down – crew members and all, if your conscience is up to it. The mission is too important to jeopardize it.
Seamlessly switch between strategic ship-on-ship battles and tactical action on deck. Exchange cannon fire in zero gravity – or board an enemy vessel to take it down from the inside.

Each key character brings a unique backstory, personality, and gameplay abilities, significantly affecting the way you play. Just remember to take care of them – losing a main character means game over.
Geek out with complex simulation systems on your ship. Generate and distribute oxygen, calibrate and reroute power, and dismantle modules for scrap to achieve the best performance of your ship.
Navigate a bustling mining colony on a colossal asteroid. Delve into mines, traverse cave systems, investigate outposts and nearby space bodies. Be prepared to face pirates – or discover unknown life forms. Unravel the mystery behind the accident that sent you on your mission.

Unfortunately in it's current state it is little more than a tech demo. While the systems involved are incredibly cool and full of so much potential, the game manages to be an absolute slog that seems to avoid you using them. Instead, you are given about two hours worth of fetch quests, a very detailed tutorial (which is a lot more fun than the actual game in its current state) and a sandbox mode that gives you about one of every module and other objects and then shrugs its shoulder and hopes you can entertain yourself with that.
If there was a neutral vote, I would not recommend this, but it doesn't deserve negative review either. Game mechanics are great and full of potential, this might become something spectacular. Unfortunately game has very little content at the moment. Some demos give you more to play that this. It's barely worth 9,75 euros. This might change with future updates. So. For now I'm giving this a positive review to support it, but be warned.
We need Chinese!
seems interesting, but a linear story is probably the most boring way to play the game
i am absolutely loving this game! it reminds me of Heat Signature a little but more to do with ship related activities. it's very cute and simple and i love flying thru the caves and the game mechanics. you get to balance weapons, energy and repairs by using modules that you can attach to your vessel on the fly when you're in the field.

What an amazing game! So glad I discovered it. The demo is very cool so instant purchased Looking forward to future updates and so glad to be on board. This game has HUGE potential. 10/10
Only recommended if you think the devs will listen to the current feedback, because the gameplay systems are very fun. The problem is chapter one is mainly just fetch quests that prevent you from really engaging with or enjoying the fun gameplay systems. The prologue had better gameplay and had me immediately invested in whatever was coming next, while this new chapter one so far has me wanting to join the ranks of free flying rogue AIs flying through deep space instead. As of January 2026 it's not worth playing, but I think they will turn it around.
Дуже цікава гра. Сподіваюсь дойде до релізу
I've never had a better "flying" experience in a space game, it's so smooooth and intuitive! The art is beautiful, the gameplay is amazing, all it needs now is more missions, more story and more fights! I haven't finished all the content of the Early Access but I'll be following the development of this game very closely. I'm eager to see what's next!
