If you want to sit back, relax, and enjoy a Jigsaw game cheaper than any other jigsaw RL (Unless you count the cost for the headset and computer) This is definitely something I recommend. However If you don't like Jigsaw puzzles, this obviously isn't for you. Jigsaw 360 von Head Start Design ist ein entspannendes Puzzlespiel. Sonst nichts weiter, aber das macht es sehr gut. Der Puzzler steht in mitten seinem Legewerk, das als Motiv an den Innenseiten einer Kugel zu sehen ist. Standardmäßig ist ein Kugel-3D-Puzzle vorgegeben. Aber es läßt sich auch die klassische Variante des allbekannten flachen Puzzles spielen. Der Spieler befindet sich dann aber weierhin in einer Kugel, die das Motiv darstellt. Weiter kann man auswählen in wieviele Puzzleteile das gewählte Motiv zerlegt werden soll. Vom 8-teiligen Puzzle bis hin zu 128 Teilen. Die Steuerung in Jigsaw 360 ist ziemlich einfach. Wird die Ursprüngliche Version, das 3D-Puzzle gewählt, kann die Position der Kugel einfach verändern werden, indem der Spieler die Minikugel in der Kugel greift und frei im Raum positioniert, bis die gewünschte Stelle und Blickrichtung erreicht ist. Vor dem Puzzler befindet sich zudem ein großes Tablett, in dem alle Teile aufbewahrt werden. Das Tablett läßt sich bei Bedarf bequem umpositionieren, verkleinern oder vergrößeren. Zudem gibt es links und rechts vom Spieler je zwei Abwurfkörbe, einer zaubert ein Puzzleteil an die passende Stelle im Motiv, der andere wirft das Teil zurück auf das Tablett. Die Grafik im Spiel ist so gut, dass man ohne Probleme auch längere Puzzlerunden durchhält, ohne zu ermüden. Ich denke, das ist aber auch abhängig von den gewählten Motiven. Das Spiel selbst hält 10 Motive bereit, toll ist aber, dass man jedes beliebige Bild importieren kann, solange es rechteckig ist. Somit stehen unendlichen Puzzelstunden nicht mehr im Wege. Jigsaw 360 ist sehr entspannend, der Spieler kann zwischen ambientartiger Musik, Hintergrundgeräusche wie Natur, Regen oder Meereswellen auswählen. All das macht Jigsaw 360 zu einem runden Puzzlepaket. Der geringe Preis und die Möglichkeit eigene Motive zu importieren sprechen für sich. [h1] Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers [/h1] This is an easy recommend at under $2. These are relaxing puzzles. You have the choice of either normal flat puzzles or spherical ones, which I found quite challenging. You can choose the difficulty by choosing how many pieces you want in your puzzle. While you are putting the puzzle together you can see the scene all around you and the puzzles pieces right below you. You basically point and click. If you start getting frustrated, you can always hit the hint button and it will tell you exactly where the piece you're holding goes. You have several options in settings, including the ability to increase the magnet strength of putting a correct puzzle piece in the puzzle for an easier time. I found the default setting to work nicely though. The bad news is that there's only 10 puzzles included in-game. However, it's relatively easy to add your own. I found some really good free equirectangular .png downloads without any hassle from Flickr. The game recommends 8192 x 4096 or 4096 x 2048 for the downloads. But I found that really doesn't matter all that much. What really matters is you download the higest resolution possible, even if it isn't 8192 x 4096 or 4096 x 2048. If you download lower resolutions than that, then the 360 view in your surrounding environment will look pretty bad. Keep in mind, the place where this game wants you to put the downloaded files is a hidden file by default by Windows 10 and that you can convert .jpg files to .png files from MS paint. You just drop the files in the directory (file search if you can't find it) and they will turn up in-game. [b]Rate 7/10. Nice to see the dev put a price point that matches / exceeds the game type / content.[/b]

This experience is not for everyone. If you are a hardcore puzzler, the simplicity of Jigsaw 360 might turn you away. My wife loves jigsaw puzzles but struggled getting into this experience because she couldn't arrange the pieces off-board. Meaning she couldn't sort out her corner pieces/side pieces/etc... which is one of her favorite parts of building a puzzle. Alternatively, if you loathe jigsaw puzzles (like I do), you shouldn't even be looking at reviews here because you'll know you dislike it. This game is for the person who is casually into jigsaw puzzles. Finds them interesting but wouldn't spend a weekend building one. I can see this experience being GREAT for both kids and the elderly. Therefore, I recommend Jigsaw 360 if you fall into one of the camps I've described above. Perhaps if it continues to get more polish and updates allowing for some things my wife would like to see in it, then it will catch a wider audience.

I like this. It is simple, relaxing and interesting to play with puzzles in 3D. You can also add your own images without too much fuss and there are plenty out there now. I think it would be better if the puzzle algorithm actually made pieces from the sphere rather than chopping up the 2d square image and wrapping those pieces onto a sphere. 100% would recommend! Such a hidden gem! Very relaxing and peaceful, easy to get the hang of, and ability to use custom photos! I love it! The price is such a bargain, too!

The default mode is a spherical puzzle, but you can choose a flat version instead if you prefer. You also choose how many pieces the puzzle should be. From an 8 piece puzzle to 128 pieces. It’s all pretty straightforward. In front of you you’ll find the tray that holds all the pieces. Highlight up to two pieces to bring them toward you. You can try to join them together first, or go straight to the puzzle canvas to find where they go. This whole game has a zen and relaxing mood to it. There’s peaceful music playing, and you can choose background sound effects like nature, rain, or ocean waves. The game comes with 10 images available as puzzles. But you can import any image to use as a puzzle as well, as long as it’s equi-rectangular. The game is also priced perfectly at $2. It’s a nice little relaxing puzzle game.
