About
Ever tried driving when no single person can actually drive? No?
Good. Because that’s exactly what Jesus Take The Wheel is about.
This is a co-op chaos game for two players, where teamwork isn’t just encouraged, it’s mandatory. One player controls the steering wheel and handbrake, with limited visibility. The other handles acceleration and braking, while giving directional instructions. That’s it. No overlap. No shortcuts. No divine miracles beyond yelling at your partner and hoping for the best.
Whether you’re playing locally on the same screen or online (through Steam invites only), you’ll need to cooperate closely to complete the tasks at hand. Every turn, stop, and panic brake requires communication, timing, and a shocking amount of trust.
Put your coordination (and friendship) to the test across a variety of game modes, each with its own challenges:
Driving School – Learn the basics. Fail spectacularly. Try again.
Taxi Driver – Pick up passengers, obey traffic rules (or don’t), and get them there in one emotional piece.
Garbage Truck Driver – Heavy vehicle, tight streets, zero room for error.
…and more scenarios designed to push your teamwork to the limit.
Each mode throws new obstacles, rules, and situations at you, ensuring that even when you think you’ve mastered cooperation, the game finds a new way to prove you wrong.
There is no built-in voice or text chat. If you want to succeed, you’ll have to rely on whatever communication method you bring with you: couch yelling, Discord, frantic hand signals, or interpretive screaming. Miscommunication isn’t a bug here; it’s a feature.
Every mode comes with various challenges to complete, pushing you to drive better, faster, cleaner, or at least less disastrously than before. Complete objectives and unlock Steam achievements that celebrate both your triumphs and your questionable life choices.
At its core, Jesus Take The Wheel isn’t about driving.
It’s about cooperation under pressure, shared responsibility, and discovering whether your friendship can survive a missed brake at full speed. Someone has the wheel. Someone has the pedals. And somehow, it’s everyone’s fault.

Car physics are awesome, I had fun driving even when I tried playing single player! It includes several modes of play of varying difficulty, I'm looking forward to mastering the harder ones and obtaining all achievements with my friends. So far, I've most enjoyed destroying hydrants and being a taxi driver. It's a charming game with great sense of humour. Being able to change radio stations is a nice touch, my favourite is the Cyber Station. The ads that play from time to time are really amusing too! Fun multiplayer game, well worth the money!
My boyfriend got me to download steam just so he could play this game with me. We played for a few hours and had so much fun (after a lot of yelling ). I played as the driver and he played as jesus. Its really cool jesus cant see much( only the car) so we had to navigate the streets together. That was the most fun part. its nerve wrecking since theres a timer so you have to act and think fast, and the music was genuinely so nice to listen to. We will definitely play again. Id recommend it anyone to play with their friends
The game is great. If you want to fight with your best friend, this is a great game for that.
Fun Game
A really fun game, lots of laughs. It's a bit difficult, but I like it. My son and I played it together, he was Jesus... now he has a headache XD
Have an anoying firend that you dont want to talk anymore but they will get angry if you said it in their face? Try this game!
seems like a fun premise, but jeez add proper controller support. the ABXY buttons dont even work across to 2 controllers. and "restart" should instantly bring you back into the round.
cool
Lotta fun for $5. Can't wait to see more challenges.
