Jacksmith: Weapons and Warriors

Just as you guys, I spent hours in my childhood trying to beat this game, but because of time and lack of knowledge I was unable to get past zone two. This game is really cozy and fun for a short time while doing something else. Making powerful weapons, killing enemies and making stronger weapons is a fun game loop. It was also fun getting all the achievements, seeing the faces of the Goats, Cows and bulls after giving them a crappy weapon shouldn't be this fun, getting three clients in a row that want the weapon you are trying to get to gold really hit the right spot in my brain. The game can be a bit long in my opinion, and that's why I recommend doing it in short bursts, it can take five hours get to the end, around 10 to get everything. But nevertheless, is a great experience if you want to relive the flash era.

To say that this game, from the studio of well known Papa Louie games, is good is an obvoius statement. It is fun, challenging. The weapon designs and the sounds are really awesome. Ending of the game really got me. I wasn´t expecting that. Well done with this game. Definetly would recommend. If you love swords and the Papas chill games this is the perfect match for you. :D

Это легендарно. Я никогда не ожидал, что увижу игру детсввновь, тем более в стиме, но как увидел - сразу взялся за ее прохождение. Сам сюжет прикольный, смешной. Геймплей однообразный, но тоже есть свой разброс для разнообразия. Мне понравилось, вот реально. Играя на сайте, ты максимум проиграешь час, два, три, но не больше, а здесь есть возможность пройти игру полностью. Мне нечего сказать. Вот, просто поиграйте, насладитесь. По поводу достижений: Многим покажется муторным, что нужно заработать 9 золотых звезд на оружиях для самого сложного "сложного" достижения, но мне показалось это простым. Если честно, есть пожелание по этому поводу, чтобы добавить достижения за прохождения самого мира на 100%. Допустим бестиарий, я сомневаюсь, что вообще кто-то в него заходил, но да, его тоже можно закрыть на 100%, добавить достижение за прокачку всех оружий на золотые звезды. Вот теперь уже достижения стали сложнее, есть цель, которая не кажется половинчатой, которая приведет к закрытию мира на 100%. Спасибо, если прочитали мой комментарий полностью, надеюсь, что много людей, которые также как и я любят эту игру, поиграют в нее вновь

Когда она только вышла в стим, мне казалось что прикольно, но по факту это просто фарм денег на ностальгии. НИ КАКИХ изменений нет, да и игра после 3-4 часов супер душная. (проходил на платину)

The peak of gaming.

Jacksmith is a game that lives in my nostalgia, a true OG classic from Armor Games that I have loved since childhood. It’s not about being better or worse than modern blacksmithing games. It just scratches a certain itch, a blend of creativity, strategy, and progression that few others quite capture. The game’s UI is beautifully straightforward, it doesn’t overwhelm you, but that simplicity hides a lot of depth. Each time you craft a weapon, it feels like a mini victory; you’re not just making weapons and other things... you’re telling a story, forging your own path. Jacksmith’s charm lies in that sense of accomplishment. Every success feels earned, every failure is a lesson, and each time you craft a new piece, you feel yourself growing into a true artisan, mastering the forge each step of the way. Of course, it’s not a perfect game, but I like how it is, especially with its little to no bugs/glitches. It’s a familiar formula, but it never gets old. If you’ve played other blacksmithing games, sure, there are new bells and whistles, but Jacksmith is just special. One of the best parts is that it’s less than $10, and it’s absolutely worth the price. If you’ve never played it, do yourself a favour and give it a go, and if you’re like me, you’ll keep coming back, just to see how to better your craft

I've always heard positive things about Jacksmith without fully getting why. Decided to give it a shot and I wish people had just described it as "Papa Louie games, but with weapons and fighting monsters" and I would've tried it so much sooner. The Weapons and Warriors version on steam adds special blacksmith recipes for your warriors which is cool and gives something to collect. It's fun!
