Piccolo passatempo indie che riesce a essere divertente. Il gameplay è semplice dovete tagliare tronchi con precisione e al momento giusto, ci sono inoltre potenziamenti e obiettivi extra.

This is more of an iPad game than a PC game, but it works fine with a mouse as well. The best way to describe this game is to imagine a fruit ninja like game, but with levels and the fruits are replaced with tree logs that you need to cut in a certain way. It honestly turned out to be more fun than I expected, so I am leaving a positive review here! There's something oddly satisfying with just drawing a path of lines to cut stuff... Am I crazy? Fun little game to pass the time. Definitely a touch screen tablet game, but still transitions well with mouse movement. You are Jack, your nanny was killed by a tree and you must chop down trees until you avenge her death. Each level throws you tree limbs to chop up. Some are easy and straight some harder and U-shaped. It gets harder as you progress. Some require you chop them a specific direction while others need to be chopped multiple times. It continues to add a variety of increased difficulty to accomplish the chopping of wood before you run out of time. The graphics are very tablet/flash animation looking, the sound is very basic, but not obnoxious. The only negative I would give is that without a touchscreen the final achievement is really difficult. Other than that, if you can get it for less than a buck, it's a fun game.

Jack Lumber is basically Fruit Ninja with bullet time and a surprisingly charming backstory about avenging your granny's death at the hands of a sentient tree. The slow-motion mechanic is genuinely clever, and the pun-telling beaver you rescue early on got a real laugh out of me. That said, this is clearly a mobile port and the mouse controls never feel as satisfying as a swipe on a touchscreen would. Some of the later levels where you need precise angled cuts got genuinely maddening, and the hit detection on spinning logs is inconsistent enough to make it worse. Pick it up for under two dollars and it's a fun couple of afternoons; at full price you'll spend most of it wishing you were playing it on your phone.
