It gets so lonely here

first visual novel, very interesting plot

ITS SO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GOOOOOOODDDD

gorgeous art, gorgeous prose, and gorgeous girls, but god i feel like none of the endings feel deserved. i don't say that because you die in [spoiler]almost[/spoiler] every single one, i say that because they make no sense thematically [spoiler]for example, why does the gravedigger bury you alive? she does it 1. because she's a gravedigger 2. so you never leave her this especially pisses me off after the whole setup about how she wished her dad had simply died instead of going through the pain of inheriting the plague and her constant fear and sadness over losing everyone, and then the little scene where you get sick. it would've been so cool if instead of her burying you simply because she was a gravedigger, she did it because she was so afraid of losing you that she herself cast you away. so afraid to see you succumb to a sickness or a plague or even to just walk off to find civilization, that she quite literally buries you somewhere where she can't see you. to have her return to the comfortable pain of being alone because she's so afraid of getting too attached like she did with everybody else in her life the witch's whole thing of her having full control over you, telling you she's doing it for your own good, talking for you, it's all the exact kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ a toxic girlfriend would say/ do to you. all of it at the very climax of the game, where it hits the hardest; and yet, none of the characters' motivations are logical enough past "i love you so much that i'm gonna kill you" to make the whole thing hit any harder. in the end it felt like medea was just kind of sadistic. they all just felt kind of sadistic. there wasn't much else to it.[/spoiler] it's all personal preference/ interpretation of course and i might be terribly misinterpreting the game's message/ theming (btw if i am please tell me how because i love hearing different interpretations of things) but i really wish more was done to make the characters' motivations make more sense/ more reminiscent of a toxic relationship, especially since that's what the game seems like it's going for either way, it's short (most of my time was idle because i'm stupid and evil), it's free, and it's great for what it is; just try to focus on that and not on what it isn't

真是异常美味的故事，童话感十足，第二人称不仅相当有意思，这个伏笔也是很精彩，好吃😋！！！！！！！！！！

孤寂之地真的很完美，作为免费的一部文字冒险游戏来说，它十分成功，一共有人鱼、掘墓人、公主三条线，我最喜欢的是人鱼那条线，然后是女巫美狄亚，女主与他签订了契约，把名字，灵魂都出卖给了他，但最后她活过来，她想要的只是一个朋友，女巫欺骗了他，她并不是什么她的朋友，也不是什么亲爱的，她最后找回了自我.正如这部作品的名字一样-孤寂之地，无论选择哪条线都是孤独的,最后只有拿回自己的名字和灵魂，女主才真正找到了自己的路，另外，特别优点的是，他用了第二人称是十分少见，可以说几乎很难找到，这个音乐也是做的十分不错，另外额外内容那里还有作者的那个创作思路，还有解题技巧（看了那个我就早应该知道，不应该三周目的时候接受女巫的契约的，导致我重新来过，真的很麻烦，可以没玩过的，可以提前看一下，不过是二周目做完的时候避免剧透）总的来说，我非常满意高质量神作，配乐也十分不错，唯一的缺点就是没有配音吧
