About
The year is 1989. Three decades have passed since the onset of "Global Isolation," triggered by an anomalous incident in the Mediterranean Sea. In this time, the world has transformed beyond recognition. All connections between continents have been severed, and shifting boundaries known as "running lines" gradually consume the land year after year. Nations grapple with profound social, ecological, migration, and food crises. To mitigate logistical challenges, a network of orbital stations has been constructed for intercontinental transport and storage of biome-specific resources.
You are a junior technical specialist recently arrived at an orbital station. You possess no extraordinary skills—just an individual trying to escape debt, willing to take on any assigned task. However, due to an orbital accident, you find yourself stranded in an unknown desert.
Though you're isolated, you're not entirely alone. Your only lifeline is Anna, another survivor of the crash. Together, you must coordinate and solve the problems you face, relying solely on dialogue and shared decision-making. Your conversations with Anna form the backbone of your journey, and through these exchanges, you’ll gradually piece together what happened—and how to survive.
The desert is more than just an expanse of sand. This alien environment teems with strange anomalies—phenomena that defy the laws of physics and nature. These anomalies come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and behaviors, from gravitational distortions to space-bending effects. Each new discovery forces you to think on your feet, using your limited tools and resources to push forward and overcome the challenges in your path. Exploration is key, but it’s not without risk.
While the anomalies are dangerous, they aren’t the only threat. The desert is home to unique insectoid creatures that have adapted to the harsh climate. These creatures fiercely protect their territory, hunting for food and eliminating anything that threatens their survival—including you. Your actions must be careful and your behavior vigilant, especially at night and in shadowy areas, if you hope to stay alive.
Immerse yourself in a narrative-driven experience where every step reveals more about the world, the characters, and the mysterious events surrounding the crash.
You can contact Anna whenever you stumble upon something intriguing - be it a strange anomaly or a new location. With multiple dialogue options at your disposal, you'll find conversations more engaging and dynamic.
Resource management and survival instincts are crucial. Gather tools, salvage supplies, and make critical decisions that affect your chances of survival.
Craft essential tools and upgrade your weapons using unique crafting systems, enhancing your chances of survival.
Combat is grounded in realism. You'll interact with weapons in a tactile, detailed way, requiring careful reloading, aiming, and precision. Limited ammo and worn-out equipment add to the tension, making every shot count.
The game’s desert setting is more than just a barren wasteland. It’s a living, breathing world filled with strange sights, unexplained phenomena, and eerie beauty. The environment reacts to your presence, enhancing immersion through visual storytelling.
The game is divided into days. At the start of each day, the player receives a mission and has time to prepare before venturing into the open world to explore.
Interact with anomalies in creative ways. These phenomena can alter time, gravity, and even the physical laws of nature. Use the tools at your disposal to manipulate them to your advantage.
The desert holds more than just dangers—it’s full of hidden puzzles that challenge your problem-solving skills. Some puzzles are tied to anomalies, while others are environmental. Solving them reveals more of the world’s mysteries, unlocking new areas to explore and items to use.

This game is really fun and is more polished than some big releases. there's many quality of life things which other devs should consider especially in regards of crafting and climbing. It's a puzzle game first and a shooter second which is fine. The atmosphere is great and the story is a good setup for whats to come. all it really needs is more content
So I have to say i really enjoy story driven VR games. Irreversible is a perfect example of that game done right. The puzzles are the right amount of difficulty to not get you frustrated and take you out of the game. The story is great and the atmosphere and design or top notch in my opinion. Voice acting and sound design is great as well. I had zero issues during the Story Mode play through and if your a fan of games like Fire Watch than this is the game for you. The developers have said there working on the next chapters for the game so there's going to more to come in the future.
This game deserves far more recognition and success. For being in early access it is quite polished. Of course there are some rough moments, but these can be forgiven overall. There were many things I enjoyed: - rewarding exploration (small open world) - great VR interactions, especially with the scientific equipment - amazing world-building and atmosphere (some goosebump moments) - interesting anomalies - an intriguing story with good dialogue - a meaningful crafting and upgrading system It feels like a mixture of Firewatch, Into the Radius and Half-Life: Alyx without being a copy. Irreversible manages to stand out from other games and establish its own identity. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes any of the games mentioned.
so far its like a casual into the radius meets firewatch and i absolutely love it great job to the team
Irreversible feels like Firewatch with some combat sections. The story is interesting, the voicework is competent and the VR interactions are well implemented. I was playing on Story (Easy) mode and the combat was a little too difficult at first as your weapon was severely underpowered. A patch released on November 5, 2025 addressed that issue for me. For an early access title it feels quite feature complete and polished. The conclusion is open ended and I do hope the dev continues to support the game and flesh out the story.
Really good from the four chapters I've played so far. The VR mechanics are really responsive, like the snapping back of items and throwing materials into the backpack feels good. Scale and seated height feels realistic. A nice mix of puzzles and exploration with some added combat in places. Shooting and crafting works well but you have to manage resources well. At some point I had too much stuff but you can easily run low if you're not careful because the scorpion like bugs take a massive chunk of your health from just a few hits, not to mention some of the moving anomalies. I loved roaming the desert like landscape and encountering points of interest where you're sometimes rewarded with upgrades. Looking forward to more chapter when released!
Extremely fun VR experience. Definitely deserves a lot more attention than it seems to get. It's very well made. Everything just works the way youd expect. Way less jank than even some big budget VR games. Runs pretty smooth as well. But I would like the resolution scale slider to go higher than 100% Great work on this one and keep it up :)
Porządny indyk, czekam na kontynuajcę historii.
Giving this a thumbs up for voice acting, atmosphere, performance, and sound design. Overall, it's pretty well made. HOWEVER, there's a flaw in its inventory system. The game doesn't respawn you with any materials you burned before you died. I wouldn't mind this (though it veers a bit too soulslike) except the game doesn't do a good enough job of balancing out how much scrap you find in the field to offset being REALLY tight on heals and flares if you die one too many times. So in the second cave's big action sequence, as an example, you get a ton of ammo in that killbox of a room, but if you come in light on healing items and die, you're just left with the one syringe already in the room. Also, I don't really see the point of the crafting system at all if the game is going to continually offer up as much ammo as any decent player would need. So I felt like I was just scrapping for stuff to craft health items. Other than that, and some Early Access stuff I typically overlook (like an incomplete story and game length), this is a pretty solid game. I still recommend it despite what I saw as an imbalance between inventory management and the save system. I did enjoy the audio logs in the recent update. Very nice addition to flesh out the world building.
