About
The year is 1989. Three decades have passed since the onset of "Global Isolation," triggered by an anomalous incident in the Mediterranean Sea. In this time, the world has transformed beyond recognition. All connections between continents have been severed, and shifting boundaries known as "running lines" gradually consume the land year after year. Nations grapple with profound social, ecological, migration, and food crises. To mitigate logistical challenges, a network of orbital stations has been constructed for intercontinental transport and storage of biome-specific resources.
You are a junior technical specialist recently arrived at an orbital station. You possess no extraordinary skills—just an individual trying to escape debt, willing to take on any assigned task. However, due to an orbital accident, you find yourself stranded in an unknown desert.
Though you're isolated, you're not entirely alone. Your only lifeline is Anna, another survivor of the crash. Together, you must coordinate and solve the problems you face, relying solely on dialogue and shared decision-making. Your conversations with Anna form the backbone of your journey, and through these exchanges, you’ll gradually piece together what happened—and how to survive.
The desert is more than just an expanse of sand. This alien environment teems with strange anomalies—phenomena that defy the laws of physics and nature. These anomalies come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and behaviors, from gravitational distortions to space-bending effects. Each new discovery forces you to think on your feet, using your limited tools and resources to push forward and overcome the challenges in your path. Exploration is key, but it’s not without risk.
While the anomalies are dangerous, they aren’t the only threat. The desert is home to unique insectoid creatures that have adapted to the harsh climate. These creatures fiercely protect their territory, hunting for food and eliminating anything that threatens their survival—including you. Your actions must be careful and your behavior vigilant, especially at night and in shadowy areas, if you hope to stay alive.
Immerse yourself in a narrative-driven experience where every step reveals more about the world, the characters, and the mysterious events surrounding the crash.
You can contact Anna whenever you stumble upon something intriguing - be it a strange anomaly or a new location. With multiple dialogue options at your disposal, you'll find conversations more engaging and dynamic.
Resource management and survival instincts are crucial. Gather tools, salvage supplies, and make critical decisions that affect your chances of survival.
Craft essential tools and upgrade your weapons using unique crafting systems, enhancing your chances of survival.
Combat is grounded in realism. You'll interact with weapons in a tactile, detailed way, requiring careful reloading, aiming, and precision. Limited ammo and worn-out equipment add to the tension, making every shot count.
The game’s desert setting is more than just a barren wasteland. It’s a living, breathing world filled with strange sights, unexplained phenomena, and eerie beauty. The environment reacts to your presence, enhancing immersion through visual storytelling.
The game is divided into days. At the start of each day, the player receives a mission and has time to prepare before venturing into the open world to explore.
Interact with anomalies in creative ways. These phenomena can alter time, gravity, and even the physical laws of nature. Use the tools at your disposal to manipulate them to your advantage.
The desert holds more than just dangers—it’s full of hidden puzzles that challenge your problem-solving skills. Some puzzles are tied to anomalies, while others are environmental. Solving them reveals more of the world’s mysteries, unlocking new areas to explore and items to use.

With ought a doubt one of the best games ive played this year ... If you enjoyed FireWatch .. this is for you Great audio Great Graphics Fantastic story
Experienced on the HP Reverb G2 using the Oasis Driver for Windows Mixed Reality and on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my full review here: https://youtu.be/ZJClzjc2TTE This game is off to a very promising start in Early Access. Probably my biggest complaint is that currently, the game ends on a cliffhanger and to be continued and the main story is not resolved. Irreversible also doesn't have a lot of depth behind it, due to it being only 3 hours long even with doing all the side quests. However, it's a good experience overall. The story is off to a good start. The VOs are excellent. The production values overall are very good. The visuals are nice, although they are a mixed bag (certain areas look better than others). The sound design is good and the musical soundtrack is solid. There's a lot to like here. The main problem is that the game, currently, doesn't do anything great. Solid overall, but there's nothing you can point to to say yeah that's great. It's mostly solid to good. The game is story focused. The shooting is competent. There's 4 different enemy types. You have manual reloads. The survival aspect is quite minimal though. You can craft stuff, but you don't really need to. The puzzles are casual difficulty. There's also climbing because every VR adventure needs it! Game is running on the Unreal Engine 5.4. On my RTX 5090, on max settings, I was getting mostly 90 fps, but with some dropped frames. The game could definitely be better optimized. You do have full locomotion, along with smooth and snap turning. You can play comfortably seated or standing. There are comfort options. You can play on story mode or survival mode. I played on survival and didn't find it particularly challenging. Rate 7.5/10.
I bought this game! Looks amazing! I really love the game's atmosphere. Has familiar elements, but also has its own unique vibes. Greatly combines elements from Firewatch, Into The Radius and The Invincible into one package.
Not bad, it's more of a puzzle solving, story driven game rather than a shooter. The crafting mechanic reminds me of Prey, love how it is designed. +++Game performance is good +++Plenty of interactable items ++Interesting story line so far +Side quests are generally short and fun, the rewards are good as well ---there are some issues with controller positioning and drift in the game but it's acceptable since gun play is not a big part. -Currently the whole content is only 3hr long, included main story line and side quests, but it's a working in progress game.
I couldn't finish the available content yet due time constraints but it looks great so far. In the short timespan I played it for I was already able to see a lot of potential. 2 mechanics I never saw before in VR: - Dialogue system (The game is kinda like Firewatch in that field) - ??? (Something I don't want to spoil but implementation of this the tool is amazing) Overall looks great.Plays smooth on my RTX 4080 (would be weird if not). Not without few hickups here and there, but nothing crucial. *Expect me to update the review once I'll get my hands on it properly.
An excellent game! Well done, guys! There are very few truly good VR titles out there, and this game is a great example that quality projects do still appear. A few things that immediately stood out to me: the graphics is excellent. Not top-tier, but very, very solid—textures, models, lighting. Other reviews mention that the game is quite demanding on hardware, but I’m playing on a laptop with an RTX 2080 and everything runs smoothly. And it even loads quickly! There are almost no bugs; everything feels polished and convenient. The story is good as well. I’m only halfway through Chapter Two so far, but I’m already really enjoying it. As is common in VR, the narrative unfolds through the voices of the protagonist and a woman on radio comms. The gameplay is moderately tense and challenging—not overly difficult, but the local fauna will definitely give you some painful bites, which is an important criterion for good suspense. All in all, keep it up, creators—thank you, and best of luck to you!
