Iron Warriors: T-72 Tank Command

Works just fine out of the box on Windows 10.

It's a good story driven (no dynamic mission) tank sim that's marred by a number of glaring errors. Notably, the AI crew members are ABSOLUTELY BRAINDEAD. The driver is incapable of driving in a straight line, the gunner cannot spot targets right in front of him, and the commander has a habit of always looking backwards for some reason. Therefore the ONLY way to really play this is game is to play as driver, commander, AND gunner, alternating between the seats. Yet somehow, the enemy AI's accuracy is tuned WAY UP. RPG gunners never miss and anti-tank guns can shoot you through rain and fog, before you can even see them (and yes I had my night optics turned on). It's like the milsim version of Desert Bus, a game deliberately designed to piss you off. Overall not worth the effort except as a historical curiosity, an early faltering attempt at a game by the developers who would later go on to make the acclaimed Graviteam Tactics.

You can not remap the controls. Mouse is practically not used, turret turn is keyboard bound. Tank crew absolutely will not listen and you often find the driver gassing it, internally proclaiming [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PR8rvnaTb9k]'Oh what a lovely day!'[/url] It's an immediate flashback to ArmA1(OFP), minus any kind of interesting narrative or variety in mission design. If you're in for some good ol'fashioned sortie with immersive weighty navigation and combat. And the novelty of mastering an alien control scheme is appealing to you.. It's a test of patience and eventually the merit is overshadowed by overbearing frustration. It's nowhere near as complicated as a flight sim like IL-2 but, I stress, you cannot remap anything.

It's freezy and laggy, loading time is a mess, and when you achieve to establish screen resolution, disable grass and others – you've to learn the controls, you should do all around on your own without AIs' help. And then you find out that the level design on T-55 would piss you off whatever experince you had; AI would cook you right from a corner of a map, and no matter how stealthily you try to get through it, they'll just be approaching, wallhacking you from the very start of the mission; you will know about an enemy by a damage. Maybe try Steel Armor?

Muy buen juego, especialmente para jugar con amigos!! El T-72 es un tanque de tres tripulantes, así que en mi caso particular sume a dos amigos y somos una dotación completa. Se puede jugar en lan vía hamachi sin problema. Asi que si buscas un simulador realista de tanques este es el que mas se acerca, eso si es difiil, pero si te gusta vale la pena completamente.

I got this game by a friend of mine who I admire most and respect, this game is a pure realism because of the way of playing and the events in that game the mechanism is decent for a game like that it is hard to complete the missions because of events which can happen in the game and the graphics are good,not beautiful but good. I hope that we will see a game like this in the near future which is gonna remind us how a real tank simulation game should look like. The sound is decent for the game which is old now. If someone wants to play a game where the realistic battles are set to experience how it should be for a person when he gets into the tank,the realism is set on the highest peak this is the right game for you.
