Love at The Milky Way Diner

It may just be a demo right now, but the world building and characters are amazing. I'm usually not a fan of dating sims but I'm glad I gave this one a try

Pros: - Fantastic worldbuilding baked into the central plot! - VERY cute art style - Writing is good and the events you guide the MC through are interesting but still make sense, in-universe - Many characters have voice lines!! - The cooking mechanic can be tricky at first, but you get hints after 3 failed attempts, and failing an attempt doesn't impact the story. Once you get that mechanic down, it becomes a fun part of the story to make the "perfect" dish for a situation - Speaking of dishes, the diversity of cuisines was super cool! As was including ingredients that don't exist in real-life, but that it'd be easy to imagine real-life counterparts to - Loveable side characters with their own voice acting - Though only Chapter 1 of the game is available right now, the intrigue and hints about each character's backstory have me on the edge of my seat for the next chapter!! - Spoiler for the end of Chapter 1: [spoiler] A potential secret love interest?? [/spoiler] Cons: - The transitions between some scenes are very harsh, making me wonder if my game was bugging/check my dialogue history to see if I'd missed something - Spelling errors are unfortunately pretty common, which broke my immersion in the story - I also had a bug where one of Roswell's sprites wasn't available and the error code popped up on top of their available sprite (also broke immersion :(( ) - For characters described in text-only (not with sprites) it was hard to imagine what they looked like, like Aedar's sister or Shiwoo's cat

This game is so much fun! I really enjoyed the different characters as well as the limited storyline I was able to see in the demo. I can't wait for the day where I get to play the full game and see how much content is added. The cooking can be kind of confusing since it can be hard to figure out what ingredients go together but other than that the gameplay is super fun and easy to acclimate to. I am definitely going to play through the demo multiple times while waiting for the crowdfunding to open up soon!!

Absolutely incredible and has me kicking my feet the whole time. Great art, voice acting, writing, and a fun little cooking mechanic. This is my game of the year, no doubt!

I am insanely excited about the full game! This is so good, and I can't wait to get to know the characters better.

The demo is super amazing, even in such a short amount of time every character feels super lovable and silly. I often find at least a few characters in dating sims to be annoying but I honestly adore all of them so far and would love to learn more abt all of them! I can't wait to back the kickstarter in hopes to see more of all these silly guys! Either way the team behind this should be super proud its amazing and all the art is absolutely GORGEOUS!! Can't wait to hopefully see more of this game, I can already see myself sinking hours into it tbh. 10000000000/10

If you played and enjoyed 'Our Life: Beginnings & Always' you'll LOVE this game! The art style is so cute and the writing feels refreshing and cozy. I'm really enjoying the added touch of cooking and actually learning all about the different species, planets, etc- makes the game feel way more immersive. Super well done. All of the dateables and side characters are fleshed out and are given time to interact with all of them! My only nit-pick has to be the typos as they do happen every so often. Other than that I'm really enjoying the game and can't wait to play more!

I've been so excited for this game for a long time now, and it was totally worth the wait. The art is beautiful, and the characters are all so unique. I love getting to mix ingredients and find recipes and I can't wait for even more in the future.
