About

While Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison earned her codename defusing bombs for the Global Defense Force, when evil transhumanist mastermind Dr. Jadus Heskel unleashes the members of his cybernetic cult onto the streets of Neo D.C., she knows it's time to start causing explosions instead of preventing them.
Her quest to slay Heskel leaves a trail of carnage throughout huge, multi-path levels filled with gigantic explosions, more secret areas than we can count, and inhuman foes behind every corner. There's no regenerating health here; stop taking cover and start running and gunning.
Shelly's crusade to take down Heskel's army will see her leave destruction in her wake with a wide arsenal of weapons, complete with alternate fire modes and different ammo types. Her signature revolver, the tri-barreled Loverboy, brings enemies pain and players pleasure with both single shots and Old West-style hammer fanning action. Who needs a regular shotgun when you can load buckshot into your grenade launcher? Violent, over-the-top Bowling Bombs rip enemies apart with ease.
Ion Fury laughs at the idea of mandatory checkpoints and straight paths through shooting galleries. But, just because this is a true old-school first-person shooter doesn't mean we've ignored all the good new stuff the last two decades have brought. Headshots? Hell yeah. More physics and interactivity? You betcha. Widescreen, controller support, and auto saves? 3D Realms and Voidpoint have taken the best of both worlds and cooked it all into a bloody stew.

This is about as good as it gets for run and gun and seek and destroy while finding secret areas. Smooth game play and by the numbers. I never did figure out how to optimize some of the secret abilities but made it to the robot so far. I see DLC on the steam sale.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Strange guns that take some getting used to, but the movement is really smooth — Shelly just flies across the map. Medkits heal surprisingly little. There are too many secrets in my opinion, but they’re optional. A deep and well-thought-out plot (some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spilled your beer, and now their entire crime syndicate is going to pay for it). I finished the game on Normal without any real sweat, but a couple of spots were unreasonably tough. I’m actually curious now if I can beat it on the highest difficulty. I’ll try it up until the first boss fight with the two robots — when those tracked bastards started crushing the arena and spamming grenades for the first time, I was thunderstruck. Oh, wait that's from AC/DC. FU Iron Maiden!
Great game. Levels are big and fun to explore. Just gets better as you keep playing. Easily one of the top boomer/throwback shooters I've ever played
its a good game
auto lifting camera ruins game on the controller
An excellent, excellent game. It's very old school, from the blood of its often difficult, stage-by-stage, to it's Build Engine bones. Maybe you were specifically looking for a Boomer shooter, maybe you just wanted an FPS retro or not, or maybe you just stumbled here, but if this game looks like it might be your chilled bottle of god awful liquor, it probably will be. Pros include a diverse armament of weapons, a plethora of old-school secrets to find, a ton of power-ups, and an excellent DLC campaign. It's hard for me to recommend it any more; it's not perfect, but if I told you it was, I wouldn't really feel like I was lying.
I haven't had this much fun playing a retro style fps, the atmosphere and details in every stage is incredible. It's deff replayable for seeking out the secrets after first run. I will recc this to my friends for sure
An amazingly built game on the build engine, thats well balanced and increadbly fun, once you master the combat. despite that however I feel that the campaign could have been cut down slightly to make it tighter and less of a marathon to play through and on top of that most of the secrets feel way to obtuse and vague to collect to the point that i actively decided after the first few levels not bother looking for them. High recommendation, just dont marathon it
