About

While Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison earned her codename defusing bombs for the Global Defense Force, when evil transhumanist mastermind Dr. Jadus Heskel unleashes the members of his cybernetic cult onto the streets of Neo D.C., she knows it's time to start causing explosions instead of preventing them.
Her quest to slay Heskel leaves a trail of carnage throughout huge, multi-path levels filled with gigantic explosions, more secret areas than we can count, and inhuman foes behind every corner. There's no regenerating health here; stop taking cover and start running and gunning.
Shelly's crusade to take down Heskel's army will see her leave destruction in her wake with a wide arsenal of weapons, complete with alternate fire modes and different ammo types. Her signature revolver, the tri-barreled Loverboy, brings enemies pain and players pleasure with both single shots and Old West-style hammer fanning action. Who needs a regular shotgun when you can load buckshot into your grenade launcher? Violent, over-the-top Bowling Bombs rip enemies apart with ease.
Ion Fury laughs at the idea of mandatory checkpoints and straight paths through shooting galleries. But, just because this is a true old-school first-person shooter doesn't mean we've ignored all the good new stuff the last two decades have brought. Headshots? Hell yeah. More physics and interactivity? You betcha. Widescreen, controller support, and auto saves? 3D Realms and Voidpoint have taken the best of both worlds and cooked it all into a bloody stew.

音乐和地图设计在所有玩过的old school fps中都属于上乘,唯一的遗憾是武器设计太平庸了。
Good Duke Nukem 3D throw back.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very shoot.
My experiences are based on the Ultra Visceral difficulty. At first, the game was hard, but that was because I was playing this like a modern shooter. I had to re-think this as a 1990s shooter, where you constantly move, cover is non-existent, you must SAVE constantly, and emptying mags is the name of the game. Once you realize that, the game becomes a lot more manageable. Ammo is a little too scarce for my liking, and I think the shotgun looks like a grenade launcher (which it is, but still). Secret finding is my favorite thing to do, and some are quite clever. The boss fights are very hard, so expect to re-load a bunch. Level design is a masterpiece. Enemy variety is a little lacking, same with cool guns. More times than not, the bowling bombs went askew and the crossbow seemed very weak at first, until I discovered it was meant to be used with only its alt-fire, which shreds. Power ups are cool, but poorly defined. I never used the radars and thought they were worthless. The music absolutely slaps! Some of the best game music I've heard. Shelly's character is awesome and she's a lot of fun to play! While it's not a legendary 10/10 game like Duke 3D, it is a good 9.99/10 game.
Having played through all the popular build engine games, it's hard to deny that Ion Fury is the best of the bunch. It has tight gameplay, excellent level design (seriously the cyberpunk city is just awesome), and a protagonist that kicks ass as hard as Duke Nukem without being annoying. This is a "Boomer Shooters" that doesnt feel like its deliberately enshittifying itself to look and feel like a 90s game. It instead feels like it's pushing the build engine to its limits, and in doing so embraces and evolves upon what games of that era were trying to with the hardware that was available. Ion Fury is a banger.
Bought it in 2024, but never had time to play it. Well, I have now. The game suffers from levels that overstay the welcome, by a lot. Other than that it is a great Build Engine shooter. For all purposes it was made as if Duke was made in 2019, the interactivity with objects are insane. Drink from a machine, play arcade games, take part in construction (you'll get that later when you play it.) The references are EVERYWHERE. Blood, Duke Nukem, Terminator, Twin Peaks, RoboCop, Toxic Avenger, and many many more. Shelly is one of the best characters I've played as. Her quippy one liners, to her tone. It is by all means the ultimate Build Engine game and currently one sale at $10USD it's a no brainer.
It's fun.
Good boomer shooter. Retro graphics with modern gameplay features.
Pure Fun. Not a dull moment in the campaign :)
