Teil!!!
Beautiful game, yet simple to control but not easy, if you understimate its difficulty, you will get punished. Nice soundtrack, and pretty pixel art.
Alright, This game is good (so far) ! To say the very least. Inukari is a good game! I like is a good story line (so far), I like the music i kinda wish it was a bit of 8-bit nes music or something like that! There are a bit of some pixel inconsistency but its not that noticable. The Movement is very smooth and its easy to learn! However The camera is smooth and I kinda Like that! As a conclusion this game is a solid 9/10! :D
This game was some fun hours. I really recommend it to every fan of platformer games. The input is super smooth and direct and the game also rewards experimenting with the backdash ;D. The soundtrack is a really nice and gives you vibes of the good SNES times. My absolute favourite in the game is the design of models, worlds and character designs (in form of avatars for textboxes.) Those are created with a lot of love!! The checkpoints are very fair and even if you die from with no life left it doesn't take you long to be back on track. Learning the levels is not even rewarding for faster progression but also feels super nice when you kind of flow through the whole level in once!! Your money will be well spent. You will have a great game and you will support a very passionate creator!
Simple platformer with a charming art furry art style. There isn't much depth to the gameplay but it's a fun experience if you catch it on sale for a couple of dollerydoos. 3/5 jiggles
Controles horribles!
game plays smoothly, the default controls are baffling as to why the most important ability being the back air dash is on L3 >.> after rebinding had zero issues with movement. For a speedrun game there's a lot of leap of faiths or just being blindsided by off-scene enemies, which this is a stop and look down button which for a game meant to be speedrun might as well not exist. movement is interesting seems to have some momentum but is mostly just jumping and back air dashing, jump attacking. You can boost off enemies for speed. I greatly enjoy the platforming it plays smoothly if you get the rhythm correct. The bosses fights are less to be desired where I have literally had no idea what a bosses attack was as it blurrs the screen and I just apparently lost health. There is very little telegraphing the bosses attacks. Since your attack is extremely melee range finding any opening where they dont immediately hit you back becomes frustrating. Having a life system and being forced to replay several minutes of long levels to get back to a boss where I sometimes cannot even tell how it's damaging me seems overly punishing for a poorly designed fight with no consistent difficulty. I have had bosses that I can first try and optimize the time and then zero idea how to even approach fighting the next because the design is unclear. The enemies in the level frequently blend into the background where I would hit them simply because I could not tell the were there. The game is enjoyable as a platformer plays very similarly to dogurai if it were to have a back air dash Its good as a platformer not so much with the boss fighting, its fun but frustruating in a unfair way. Would enjoy it more without the bosses. When I can play through the serveral minutes of platforming perfectly then lose to the second worlds main boss 20 times its infuriating. Why have lives that make you replay the entire section over again because a boss killed me with an invisible move. The third level of city was by far the best would have preferred the rest of the game to be like it xD
Inukari - Chase of Deception is a 2D Action Platformer about Inukari, the guardian of all forests and ventures on a mission to find the source of corruption that has overtaken the other guardians. The game is pretty short and fun, the pixel art is also very nice and caught my attention. There are many platforming sections but they are okay even if you're an average platformer player. The music and soundtracks were very relaxing and during the boss fights it was very engaging. The boss fights were not very challenging however, I enjoyed each single one of them. This is a very well made Action Platformer made by a solo developer "Kai Kieschnick", If you love this genre of games then It's a nice recommendation. Overall Rating 10/10
Great ambience and soundtrack. The boss fights are quite challenging, it's a bit stupid that you only save after these fights and I had to start some levels all over again. But the ambition was there and so I was able to go through some varied, beautifully designed scenarios. It was fun, even if there were a few challenges, and is definitely worth a look!
it was good
