It's a really fun game, but co-op needs some work. Pros: This game is amazing and jam packed with features, new mobs, and missions. ITR2 has a lot of the old guns from ITR1 but with a bunch more, vest, helmet, gun, and backpack customizability. From paint cans and patterns to slot locations on your person. Body stands allowing you move item holders, pouches, clips, hooks, holsters, you name it onto a vest, backpack or helmet. Shopping is more streamlined allowing you to walk through a store and take a look at things that are available. Gun range is different now too allowing a friend to join you and try things out. guns: You can now customize your guns any way you see fit. Want a canted sight at that sweet 45 degree angle?Want a pinky lil p-shooter? A tri-barrel grenade launching AK? you got it. You can now handle 2 magazines in 1 hand allowing for a quick swap of death pellet springs. Weapon weight is now also a bit more prevalent considering that all these attachments weigh something different with the holsters only allowing so much at a time. Cons: Multiplayer in this game is rough. I have a pretty powerful PC and wasn't able to maintain good enough frames to justify my eyes hurting from the jittery lag. If you are hosting the game it will bog down your computer to a crawl cutting your fps to 30 or 40 maybe even less depending on your build. I have a separate wireless adapter specifically for VR allowing for plenty of WIFI headroom so that wasn't an issue. When you host the game, your computer gets hit pretty hard. When my friend hopped onto the save with me my fps immediately plummets 30-40 frames. My buddy that was with me always had a certain type of jitteriness to his player model. making the experience a bit off, but maybe that was his fps. The utilization of my computers resources just wasn't above 50% so knowing there was more performance on the table was a bit of a letdown. All that said, you will have a really good single player experience but, as soon as you cross over to co-op your performance will take a hit. Co-op Just needs more tweaks and performance optimizing before I revisit multiplayer. Windows 11 AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor - RAM: 32GB, 4 sticks of 8gb, 3600mhz cause it matters... For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rocks
so so good, all i can say though coop was a bit of a buggy mess :(
I wish the devs would have play tested the sparkfield anomaly instead of just shipping the game with it. Had they done so, they wouldn't have to browse negative reviews on steam to find out that it's a joy-killing, hate multiplying garbage of an idea. Edit: In my short time with the game, I noted good visuals with good performance, a rare combination in the VR landscape today. The sound effects for everything, but the guns in particular, are improved over ITR1, which was already pretty good. The gun handling is basically perfect but strongly leaning towards the simulation end of the spectrum (press x + trigger to activate a weapon-mounted accessory, instead of pressing just x) which is A-okay with me, but it's worth pointing out for players who might prefer less involved mechanics. Response to Dev: I appreciate the response. Please excuse my direct tone. Did I overlook a difficulty option targeting this anomaly in particular? Or, are you referring to the option to nerf all anomalies? I don't think the latter is a good fix for a poorly received design choice. And it is a poorly received design choice. I can only find threads where the community expresses confusion and discontent over how the electrical field works - and would post URLs if Steam permitted me to - and none showing a consensus understanding. My search queries did not seek complaints - they were neutral, i.e. "into the radius 2 electrical field anomaly". While I appreciate you sharing the video, I already saw it and it does not accurately describe how the fields work. In some of the online discussions, people complain that the probe method is unreliable. My experience has been the same. Step 1: throw probe - no trigger. Step 2: walk along 'safe' path verified by probe. Step 3: get shocked and die anyway. People are speculating that the hit boxes are not correctly set. IMO, get rid of the anomaly and tweak it with play testing until testers all agree that the anomaly clearly communicates to them how it works without them resorting to external sources.
