I feel like it isn't that much of an improvement over the non enhanced version, but whatever.. Still the same premise. Lots of upgrades, pretty satisfying when you obliterate another planet too.
Imagine piloting a giant sail man-o-war, bristling with guns, readying and then unleashing deadly broadsides upon your enemies. Well, instead of ship you got a fullsize planet. Build railguns, laser and nuclear missiles to fire at other planets in same solar systems (gravity!), develop infrastructure, research even deadlies railgun, solar lasers or comet engines. Lots of fun to be had, especially with friends.
Tentative Recommendation Turn-based strategy game in which you build up your home planet’s infrastructure and defenses, and then attempt to use artillery to lay waste to the home planets of your enemies. The kicker is that almost all shots move in real time, and are affected by the gravity of each object in the solar system. A cool concept, and decent fun in its own right, but it’s pretty obvious that this is meant to be enjoyed as a competitive multiplayer game first and foremost.

golf with friends if the objective is to stop being friends. play modded, fixes most of the bugs and you can have six suns.
Very good simulation and strategy game. I hope one day it gets updated to add more technologies and weapons or have a sequel.
