Reviews
The game is fun and the puzzles are challenging; I just wish it had a longer playtime.
Nem rossz kis játék csak iszonyat rövid. 8 ezer ft nem ér. 2000ért vettem ennyit megért.
An incredibly atmospheric and mysterious masterpiece. INSIDE is an absolute work of art. From the very first second to the mind-bending finale, the game grips you with its heavy, haunting atmosphere and never lets go. What makes this game so brilliant is how incredibly mysterious it is. It doesn't rely on dialogue or cheap exposition to tell its story; instead, it uses visual storytelling, brilliant puzzles, and a dark, clinical art style to pull you into its eerie world. Every screen feels like a carefully crafted painting, and the sound design is remarkably immersive. It's tense, deeply intriguing, and will leave you thinking about its ending long after the credits roll. 9/10 — A must-play experience that is as beautiful as it is unsettling.
The game doesn't say much about what you're supposed to do, but the world is very linear and it's all about moving your character forward. There's no magic, no superpowers, nothing that tells you are anything but human; all you have at your fingertips is your smarts, and the abilities to move forward with your own two feet, jump, climb, swim, or push and pull objects. At first everything seems normal, except for the fact that you are running/hiding from someone and getting caught means certain death. But as the chapters progress you encounter weirder and weirder things. The world tethers between post-apocalyptic but also science fiction, and nothing is what it seems. The black and white world accentuates some of the creepy parts of the game. Even if the game focuses more on shadows and silhouettes, there's still a lot of clarity in the lines and shapes of the world inside the game, so even the various ways you can die are still clear enough. The animation in the game is pretty good. While it doesn't deal in overly detailed characters, there's a lot of the "small things" in each scene that really gives the game OOMPH. Things like the movement of the lights and shadows may seem like a minor thing, but it vastly affects the gameplay and gaming experience. The backgrounds may not add much because of its 2.5-dimension gameplay, but they add character to the chapters and the scenes. Playdead's backgrounds are amazing artworks on their own that showcase how detail-oriented the developers are. Like I said, there's not a lot of words but the graphics of the game speaks volumes. And so does the music and sound effects that come at the most apt of times. The music is amazing at building momentum and intrigue where it can jump at you the most. If you like something that is short but challenging, then INSIDE is a great game to complete. I bought this on a Steam sale so I bought this at a highly discounted price; so this can be something to watch out for when it goes on sale, especially if it's bundled with LIMBO.
