Goated card game that is best experienced by going in blind and simply playing along

Didn't know anything about this game, my sister bought it for me as gift. Thought it was a fun little card based roguelite without much of a story that I could spend a few hours on now and again. I was very wrong.
Act1 is good, other suck! Quit after see what act2 look like.
As far as roguelike deckbuilders go, this is the end all be all, with some of the best yet simplest gameplay you can imagine, you can imagine why I have so many hours on this game.
After reading rave reviews and being on sale for $8, I decided to give Inscryption a try. I am glad that I did. What on the surface seems to be a pretty simple card game is anything but. The progression through the different acts really keeps it fresh. It is challenging enough to where you really have to develop solid strategies, but not so challenging that it becomes frustrating. There is a story that is told in the game, but honestly it's the gameplay and mechanics that really make this a great game.
Act 1 was perfect. I just wish the entire game had kept the same visual style and atmosphere. Act 2 is a huge letdown .The 2D pixel art feels much less engaging, and the puzzles suddenly become frustratingly difficult. I ended up looking up YouTube walkthroughs just to get past the parts where I got stuck, but it felt like Act 2 never ended. It's a shame, because the game had such a strong start and so much potential. I was really enjoying it at the beginning, but the shift in style and pacing completely completely turned me off
best card game i ever see; the perfect card game with the story. you never see a card game with story better than «Inscryption». I recommend this game to everyone—even those who aren't typically into card games—if you want to experience and learn its story. It has the potential to capture the interest of people who usually don't care for card games.
So much more than I expected from this game
