Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet

Great little metroidvania. It's pretty simple but the controls are tight and it just plays really well. The art style is pure 20s indie style, that dark, painterly, slightly grotesque hand drawn look that everyone was j3rking off to back then Yeah it’s short, but it’s the kind of short where you’re not left feeling ripped off. The planet feels alive, even though the map isn’t huge. Every corner has weird creatures, little details, and that constant “what the hell is that” sense of wonder If you’re a metroidvania fan and you’ve got an afternoon or evening where you’re bored out of your skull, just play it, Way better than most people remember. Legitimately slept on gem
