About
InMomentum is a minimalistic sci-fi platform racing game that challenges the players to think in both horizontal and vertical perspectives while racing against each other or against the clock in a puzzle-like environment.
InMomentum gives the players the possibility to explore a visually unique world by having minimized object detail and a special focus on visual stimulation by the use of colors and shapes. The game’s style forges a strong bond between the visuals and the player, thus provides a very unique experience.

This game makes you feel like a parkour "Runner of the Future". So far, so good. And then you miss a platform and become a parkour "Runner of the Past".
Dash through the levels like a maniac and beat your friend's highscore then your highscore then become the ancient wizard. Very challenging especially on some levels. Controls need a bit of tweaking (unusual button layout). You can wall jump and shoot switches to open new paths. While speedrunning you collect orbs of wisdom which will come in handy in the future (not really). Visuals are basic because it's all about the gameplay. Music is like ascention to the heavens. If this is not a speedrunners heaven then I don't know what is... PS: To temporarily change game resolution press F1 and type setres 3840x2160 f in the console.
Parcour game that focuses on wall jumping. The colours are weird, and the environment is very abstract. This is a first impression review. In inMomentum you have to race through a series of waypoints to the end, without falling down. You can jump up on any vertical surface to get a boost, so the routes can vastly differ in efficiency. Gonna cut straight to the point: I'm not into speedrunners, and I don't really like the visuals. Nevertheless I will recommend this one because people who are into these games do seem to really like it. As for the visuals? Well, since this was released in 2011 I guess it's acceptable. Why would I even describe a game that can't be purchased any longer. I bought this game nearly 2 years back when it was available for purchase and decided to play it just now. All I can say is I am deeply saddened over the plight of all those gamers who failed to get it on time before it went out-of-stock like forever :D Boo Hoo, I am so lucky that I have it then. This game was like way too awesome to be ignored and now you can't even get it. So, Boo Hoo once again.
Steam added AU currency and many games are no longer for sale unless the developers themselves set a price manually. Set this ♥♥♥♥ to Automatically fix. It's disrespectful to just set new pricing and any problems means we cannot buy. Atrocious. So this game isn't available for sale in Australia. Thumbs down till this is fixed. (I doubt the devs still exist and that's why this game can't be purchased in Australia) Screw the current Steam platform setup. What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess.
This game is good, for a VERY specific type of person that loves movement If that's not you, you won't really like this game. If it IS you: you'll have a blast and it's worth picking up
Yes. inMomentum has its issues. Certain same-facing walls will count as one wall for the purposes of wall-jumping, some rare collision boxes are just slightly off enough for you to slam into the corner of them, and the multiplayer is essentially dead. The game is abandoned, these issues won't be fixed, and no new levels will be added (barring intervention by a tech wizard who can reverse engineer an SDK for the game). However, this is by far the best freerunning game I have played, with a huge variety of routes available through each level. As you play, you'll optimize your racing line and tackle each stage from angles you wouldn't have considered when first starting out. inMomentum offers an excellent sense of speed and agility, and is an absolute blast to play. If you've gotta go fast, if you wanna launch yourself across the map, if you've got an addiction to air time, I recommend this game 100%. Play alone or get some friends together, and start climbing those leaderboards.
Boring singleplayer, and multiplayer is dead.
