Animation - Good Story - Fine Music - Fine Humor - Weird Then how is it why I don't reccomend this game... Because the fighting system is boring as hell. It's not the actual fighting system istself is nothing wrong with it. Although you can't see your enemies health. The big problem is that it is repetitive as hell. And you keep fighting the same monsters every freaking 10 seconds! Hello!!!... let me explore a bit. Really really frustating. Also a problem is that suddenly when you almost at 100% health. You're entire party dies for some stupid reason, because your enemies suddenly unleashes a powerful combat spell. Want to watch me getting bored. Watch my gameplay video. https://youtu.be/X_FWBaZ9sY8
*EDIT*: The developer contacted me and asked me to try the game once again since some improvements had been made. I don't have the time to review the game for a second time nor did he specify which issues he has worked on. Let this be a lesson not to publish a game before it's ready. Nevertheless it might be that this review is not up-to-date. Review: + Not expensive - Although I usually enjoy a certain amount of repetetition in games like this one, this is too much even for me. A bigger variety of enemies could probably make the game much less boring. - The character development is way too static. Characters learn predetermined skills by leveling up and you have no choice whatsoever. - There is no way to customize the controls. - No options whatsoever. (e.g. you can't adjust music or sound volume which is actually pretty annoying after a while) - Generic story, cliché characters Would not reccomend.
When I got this game I thought it would be ♥♥♥♥. But When I started playing it turned out to be pretty decent, the music is nice and fitting, with a good dose humor and the world is pretty well made, the dialoge is kinda cringy and could use a little work I havent played much but it's quite enjoyable and I'm really hyped to see what happens next that being said it has some good suspense as well. So overall the game is pretty cheap, and if you're into the more old school type of Rpg's this one is a go to. It is really kind of fun ^_^
This is a more classical type rpg for hardcore rpg fans. It has cute characters and awesome gameplay. From what I've played, the game is very funny and witty. It has that Final Fantasy/ Chrono Trigger charm! I've not encountered any crashes or problems. The game itself runs very smooth. The music and sound effects are amazing and keeps you on your toes. I'm really glad I took a chance and got this. It's a steal at the price the developer is asking and I would recommend it to everyone who like a good challenging strategic RPG game!
RPG Maker strikes again! This is another low effort retro-pixel JRPG ripoff spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." This isn't even a good RPG Maker game. The excessive playtime I have for this game was caused by my card idler going crazy and getting stuck for a day or so running in the background without dropping the cards (the only reason anyone would buy this game). There certainly is nowhere near this much actual gameplay. Gamers who want a good retro gaming experience would be better off playing the original Final Fantasy games or one of the better RPG Maker games. Edit: In an attempt to stifle negative reviews on a game I found impossible to recommend, the developer flagged the review as "off-topic", causing the comment to be locked until Valve could intervene - a flagrant and deliberate misuse of Steams commentary system, demonstrating the developer has the same attitude towards customers as Digital Homicide, more famous for terrible treatment of customers than terrible games. If only they put as much effort into making decent games instead of RPG Maker asset flips, they might not get as many negative reviews. Edit2: For a second time the developer attempted to abuse the Valve community system by flagging this review as "Off-Topic". The flag is now cleared after a ticket was raised with Valve support. So we have a completely hostile, immature developer incapable of handling valid and deserving criticism, and we have a truly awful game. Let's go over how bad the game is from the community perspective: https://steamdb.info/app/448750/graphs/ From the "Players every day" graph, we can see the game only ever got sales when it appeared in bundles, first with the Groupees "Comrade Miller" bundle in April, 2016, secondly in January 2018 in the Fanatical Spotlight Bundle 4. After this we see where the player average of 3.3 hours comes from... card idling. The honest truth here is shown on SteamCharts: http://steamcharts.com/app/448750 Those numbers do not lie... unless there's been a bundle sale and card idling, peak players for this game is in the low single digits. There's two alternatives here.. the developer owns up to pushing an asset flip through RPG Maker to make a quick buck from card idlers, or the developer was serious about thinking he could develop a game... and if so, from my own direct experience "playing" the dismal train wreck, as well as the frosty, single digit player numbers which show nobody plays it, the game is objectively a failure in all respects, and this is 100% because the game is of absolutely terrible quality. Edit3: The weird, crazed stalker developer went back and made another edit because he simply does not accept the fact that his "game" (read: RPG Maker high school dropout weeaboo fanfiction) is objectively terrible. Weird, and creepy. I absolutely "played" the train wreck and it gave me stage 3 pancreatic cancer. The developer, busily ignoring the Steam Partner guidelines on review management, indicates it's his job to correct this hideous abortion pretending to be a video game. The best advice for the developer: Stop being creepy. Delete this game from Steam. Never touch a computer again. Stop stalking people who had the misfortune of buying your game in a bundle, playing it, and contracting terminal cancer from it because it's seriously that bad, possibly the worst game on Steam.
i like the game so far. pretty fun. its kinda encouraging me to make my own with my own story thing i'm doing. i just wish the monsters did't do so much damage. i'm at the hospital & its hard yo get to the top of it with so many monsters spawning & kicking my ass. over & over. other than that... sooper fun. worth the money.
Despite the negative critisism i believe this game is pretty good at least in my opinion. The combat is pretty nice and despite the waifu system this game has,all the character feel and play vastly different. The music really helps you get in the mood of the game.Humor is plentyfull in this game but feels a bit weird from time to time but can give you a good giggle now and then.Overall it's a pretty decent game with an overall good design and story. Also can get challenging from time to time. tl;dr Definetely worth three bucks
First of all, I haven't played much but I think this game is okay to play. I'm mean it not good or bad. It's playable. Good things : 1.Sound Sound or Music in this game is quite good, but not all of it. 2.Character Character or face of character is good. a little bit of...., forget about it. anyway is still good I think Bad things : 1.Sound In combat sound is too loud and... I don't like it that's all. 2.Weapons and clothes In this game is not really much clothes and weapons. It's bad thing in rpg game. 3. Story I not play all of it, but I can Felt it. 4.Combat & Map I really hate game that small and can't discover or explore all the area.
Infinity Saga is a fairly standard short RPGMaker game with pretty good custom artwork and (graphical) map design... and that's, sadly, where the good parts end, because it's a game about navigating through fairly long dungeons with a fairly small visible area and while beset by constant and grindy random encounters. The story is basically your standard silly and amateurish writing. If you like that, it's not terrible - it's at least got some character to it, even if it could have used some proofreading. Gameplay-wise, it's mostly okay, with a fixed party of four characters who aren't very customizable, but with at least some interesting equipment eventually. Monsters can get pretty grindy, running away stops working reliably after the first "dungeon," and the enemies in the second "dungeon" with full-party paralysis attacks get a special mention as being able to cause an arbitrary game-over easily when you first arrive. Plus the boss-tier random enemies with 10000 or so life in the last areas of the game, but at least you can run away from those. I can't really recommend Infinity Saga, but I think the developer doing art and/or maps for a different game would be neat. Or just doing better with the parts they didn't get down right this time, either way.
