This game is ultimate trash. Yes, you need to pay money to play online. But here's a fun secret, if you just want to play with your friends, use parsec. The game's touted "blitz netcode" is actually hot garbage, and you're better off dealing with parsec's input delay. HOWEVER. That hot garbage netcode actually makes things extra hilarious, and if you don't mind dropping 15 bucks on it, i recommend it highly. Do you like anime characters? ♥♥♥♥♥♥ animations? Funny bugs? Infinites? 100% damage supers? THREE different mechanics to help you escape combos? Any self-respecting lover of garbage fighting games owes it to themselves to check this out. Even if only 3 or 4 people end up making characters for this thing, it'll all be worth it.
This game is bad, and made by scummy devs who have clearly paid people to give the game positive reviews. It's fun to screw around in for a little while and laugh at, but to play with their so called "Blitz Netcode" (which is worse than most modern delay netcode), you have to pay $15 and it can't be refunded. Not only that but the game seems to be barely optimized, has uses default UE assets ripped straight from the store, and has a general air of scumminess about it. Get this game if you want to screw around but DO NOT give the devs your money. They don't deserve it.

You have to pay money to play online with others so if you are looking for a ftp fighting game with your friends this aint it chief. Which makes me sad because this game was so well done but I wanted to mess around in a fighting game all of my friends could play for free and now I can't.
Infinite Versus is Hyper Kusoge to put it lightly. setting side the terrible monetization plan and the memes about blitz netcode its a really silly game with a ton of dumb fun to be had with the bros laughing about things like how a single dash from galand teleports you across the screen like a brazillian on wifi. my biggest problem with this game (again, setting aside the monetization) is that a lot of the choices made for things like particle effects can really hurt to look at for a while, most notably the incredibly jarring screen shake. even landing a single move will shake the screen violently for a bit, and really i can't say much beyond "ow my eyes". if you're looking for a fun night ripping into a silly mess of a mugen clone and dont mind needing parsec to play online then this is the game for you. 10 из 10
Castle Super Beast sent me here. This game is jank incarnate, but it's the kind of hot trash that's good for a laugh with some friends, much like The Risers. I hope this gets more "mods" - the current roster of hilariously mismatched fighters is rather thin. Also, paid online? Really? C'mon. tldr; this isn't MUGEN, but it COULD be.

More broken than mugen Even more terrible than mugen with karateman only. Poorly optimized as well. Also nezuko head makes her look like a caveman.
If anyone looked into the history of the original MUGEN, you'll know it was rough around the edges, and didn't have the polish it has now. I feel like Infinite Versus is a step in the right direction for the future of fanmade fighting games. I've seen some reviews call this game bad, or not recommended, and for some I agree in that the game is broken currently. However, the developers of the game not only let the community's input guide the game, but they also released it for free, and I know that you have to pay for online, but I feel like that's a fair trade. The game for certain is not polished, and has many balance patches to work out, but that only makes me excited to see what will come next. If the developers are reading this, please know that the backlash you are receiving isn't what the true playerbase is, and that over time, you will find even more fans to see this project you are working on. I can't wait to create my own characters such as Shazam and other great characters, and will be buying online very soon. I hope that soon, we may see what is next for the game, and to see how it evolves into something great.
Broken in literally every way. $15 for ♥♥♥♥♥♥ netcode. Don't waste the space downloading this unless its just for the memes.
Thank you Woolie. Very Cool.
