I was pleasantly surprised to find this to be a fairly competent and fun game, as I figured it would be trash because there were no reviews. But it's pretty fun!
Infecto is an independent survival action game developed and published by Jl Apps that centers on fast-paced combat against relentless waves of infected enemies. Instead of building its appeal around an elaborate story, the game focuses on creating an engaging gameplay loop where every session tests the player's reflexes, awareness, and ability to adapt under constant pressure. The premise is simple but effective, placing players in dangerous environments where survival depends on making smart decisions while steadily improving their performance with each attempt. Its straightforward design makes it easy to understand from the beginning while leaving enough room for mastery as the challenge increases. The gameplay revolves around surviving increasingly difficult encounters as hostile infected creatures become more numerous and aggressive. Early stages serve as an introduction to the mechanics, but the difficulty ramps up quickly, forcing players to carefully manage movement, positioning, and attacks. Success comes from maintaining awareness of enemy patterns while avoiding being surrounded. The gradual escalation creates a satisfying sense of tension, encouraging players to refine their strategies instead of relying solely on quick reactions. Each failed run becomes a learning opportunity that prepares players for longer and more successful attempts. A notable strength of Infecto is its rewarding progression system. As players continue surviving and experimenting with different approaches, they gradually unlock improvements that enhance future runs. These upgrades provide meaningful incentives to continue playing without eliminating the challenge. Personal skill remains the most important factor in achieving high scores, but the sense of permanent progression helps every session feel worthwhile. This balance between player improvement and game progression gives the experience a satisfying level of replayability despite its relatively focused scope. Visually, the game embraces a clean and practical art direction that prioritizes gameplay clarity over visual spectacle. Characters, enemies, and environmental elements remain easy to distinguish even when the screen becomes crowded with infected opponents. Although the graphics are fairly modest compared to larger productions, they effectively support the game's rapid pace and maintain consistent readability throughout intense encounters. Stable performance also contributes to a smoother experience, allowing players to focus on survival rather than technical distractions. The sound design complements the action with impactful effects that communicate combat clearly. Weapon sounds, enemy noises, and ambient audio help build an atmosphere of urgency while providing useful feedback during battles. The accompanying music maintains an energetic pace without becoming overwhelming, reinforcing the feeling that danger is constantly escalating. While the audio presentation remains relatively simple, it fulfills its purpose by enhancing immersion and supporting the core gameplay rather than competing with it. Infecto shines brightest as a game designed for repeated play sessions. Its escalating difficulty, straightforward mechanics, and progression system encourage players to return in pursuit of higher survival times and improved performance. However, those seeking an expansive narrative, extensive mission variety, or deep customization may find the experience somewhat repetitive after many hours. The game is clearly aimed at players who appreciate arcade-inspired survival gameplay and the satisfaction of mastering increasingly demanding challenges. Overall, Infecto succeeds by delivering a focused survival experience that understands its strengths. Jl Apps has created a title that emphasizes responsive gameplay, steady progression, and replay value over unnecessary complexity. Although it does not attempt to compete with larger-budget productions in terms of presentation or narrative depth, it offers an enjoyable and addictive gameplay loop that rewards persistence and skill. Fans of action-focused survival games looking for an accessible yet challenging indie experience will likely find Infecto to be a worthwhile addition to their library. Rating: 6/10

i want to like it but i can't, here goes the bad thing first (which is so many...) can't skip cutscene, especially before BOSS scene and heli rooftop scene view area is too little (and makes enemies to easily kill you because you can't see them) secondary weapon (your explosives) tend to help kill yourself rather than enemies enemies doesnt spawn at once, meaning after you kill enemy sometimes there's still a spawned straggler which could kill you easily enemy spawn tend to make's you die easily because of BAD lv design the last lv i've played (the lab with many guard) has an IMPOSSIBLE lv design because a rocketman is inside lv exit and you CAN'T go before you're right in front of it. luckily rocketman WILL kill you in 1 shot (and he's good at it), which makes it an impossible mission!! and good thing very BAD translation... some people HATE this, but i personally like it :p it's a top down shooter game!! i love top down shooter generic zombie dev seems to be DEAD... it's an abandonware (there's only 2 topic in discussion and theyre all have 0 answer!!!) nothing much really... is this even the good thing? honestly i dont really know any good thing about this game except it's a top down shooter in the end ♥♥♥♥ this game.... i never had any high hope with this kind of game, but this takes the cakes. from playing for fun and then plummet into swearing ZOO madness, i cant even finish the game, ♥♥♥♥ this ♥♥♥♥
Game like a alien breed. Controls are not great but interesting game
