INDIKA is a third-person, story-driven game set in a strange world where religious visions clash with harsh reality. It tells the story of a young nun who sets off on a journey of self-discovery with the most unusual, horn-headed companion by her side.
On the outside, Indika seems to be a typical nun attempting to adjust to a difficult and monotonous monastery life. Humble and innocent in her appearance, do not be deceived as this young girl has also made a highly unlikely acquaintance—as she speaks with the devil himself.
Indika’s unusual connection with the Evil One leads her on an errand beyond the safe walls of the monastery. The world she discovers can only be described as a wild combination of comedy and tragedy straight out of the novels by Dostoyevski and Bulhakov.
The subjects of religion and authority are prevalent throughout Indika’s journey and she’ll be faced with many questions along the way. Guide her to find the answers one by one before she can finish her life-defining odyssey.
Odd Meter is a small, independent studio formerly based in Moscow and now operating out of Kazakhstan. Its members put aesthetics at the forefront and aren’t afraid to tread the fine line of ethical norms. Their game is a great testament to that, as INDIKA constitutes an open challenge to the industry's established approach to creating video games.

o jogo não é ruim. visualmente, ele não deixa a desejar e tem uma atmosfera sombria que eu genuinamente gostei. a crítica que é feita no jogo é muito importante e o texto dos diálogos é impecável, muito bem escritos. gosto da maneira como o jogo alterna entre o estilo 3D para contar o presente e o pixel-art para contar o passado. mas para mim, não foi uma experiência muito boa e por isso não irei recomendar. ele começa bem e tem aquela mecânica super interessante de rezar que o criador parece que esqueceu que existe depois da segunda vez que foi usada. ele tem alguns puzzles, mas é muito mais como se fosse um filme. é chato de jogar, você fica cansado de tanto andar para lá e para cá sem fazer de fato alguma coisa e chega em um ponto na reta final que parece que o fim nunca vai chegar. existem alguns cortes muito abruptos em partes do jogo que me incomodaram, quando você sai da gameplay para entrar numa cena. a trilha sonora não é ruim, mas acho que tirou muito da minha imersão enquanto estava jogando. tenho um problema com o final. eu entendo o final e sei o que ele quis passar, mas não gosto da maneira como algumas coisas foram abordadas. [spoiler] não sou a maior fã de usar abuso sexual como uma forma de enriquecimento de narrativa, especialmente jogado no final de uma forma que inicialmente me fez entender como uma cena adicionada para chocar. [/spoiler] se você está procurando [b] UM JOGO [/b], com mecânicas divertidas e muitas coisas para fazer, indika não é minha recomendação para você. se você procura uma experiência narrativa interativa, pode ser que te agrade.

Eu já tinha visto algumas coisas sobre INDIKA na própria página da Steam, mas só depois de jogar eu entendi o quão diferente esse jogo é. Ele é relativamente curto, mas consegue entregar uma imersão absurda. A história é muito boa, os puzzles funcionam bem e, uma das coisas que mais gostei foi a forma como o jogo trabalha a religião, fé e culpa. Ele não simplesmente tenta te dar uma resposta pronta, mas faz você pensar bastante sobre tudo o que está acontecendo. É daqueles jogos que acabam e você fica alguns minutos pensando: “caralho... que porra foi essa?”

Really amazing game. Amazing visuals, fun little puzzles, fun little minigames that are a very interesting way of telling her story. The game is short though, I wish it were a bit longer
