For a Smash Bros clone for Indies, it's a lot of fun.
still so much fun all these years later! super fun gimmick that works so well. sadly updates are no more and the online seen is pretty much empty but when playing this with a group of friends you are definitely in for a fun time!
Indie Pogo is a fun indie game crossover fighter with a very interesting gimmick. Your characters are ALWAYS jumping. Now, this might sound weird and annoying, but it's actually VERY fun and works surprisingly well. Some of the best movesets include moves that play with the jumping mechanic and the physics of the game on the whole. My main: Jack, and his spike ball chain move, for example. Sprites are really nice, I LOVE the idea of trophy characters being added to the audience to cheer you on, and lots of interesting and weird character choices (what other fighting game lets you play as a dinosaur spider?) Make this game just a total treat to play. The whole thing feels like a fun celebration!

10/10, it's truly the pinnacle of indie pogoing
Amazing Game You Should 100% Buy It
Great indie fighting game, had fun with Lilac! 8/10
Its like Smash Bros. but you're all fighting in a bounce house. Goofy party game to pull out every once in a while.
Gameplay: An auto-jumping platform fighter is a really fun concept that is well executed. Though it is apparent that some characters are better than others even if I were doing pogo only runs. While there is one certain challenge that can burn in hell (The all-star battle in hard mode especially and maybe the hard version of Crow's challenge too, but I somehow glitch-cheesed that fight), every challenge in the challenge mode is either fair or fun. I do think some of the shop prices are too expensive (Gold skins are justified at least) though since... I don't often boot it up, and I don't have other folks I can play the game with, but that can be a number change though. Presentation: This game's visuals aged pretty well. This may be obvious, but while there is a bit of artstyle dissonance thanks to character designs, that's what I'd expect from crossovers. The visuals of each stage feel pretty good to the sources and the ones that needed a more polished visual feel got that. And the music, I do feel a bit disappointed that the only original themes are in the menus and the Sovereign stage as far I know, but hey. At least it's pleasant to listen to. For future content I'd want (Just for fun): Admittedly, while not a missing feature or anything, it would be cool to have some minigames that'd blend well with the autojumping formula. And I do wish for more characters in the future outside of the ones promised to come eventually. (If I were the one deciding on a Season Pass of characters, I'd want Spark, Masked Kid, Peppino, Arizona, Mayday/Zuke (As the tag team fighters), and for a bonus someone of the dev team's choice from Under Night In-Birth (Since I consider that game to be an indie property of French Bread's)) The same holds true for stages but that's another can of worms. Verdict: All in all, this game is pretty well put together. Maybe adding in a few more characters and a good of chunk of trophies from games in the 2020s would help give this game more boosts of popularity and I wish more people would bring attention to this crossover even with Fraymakers around. It's still a fun game in its own right and I do want more to experience this game.
