Reviews
Props to the two schoolkids that made this

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Incursion Red River is a title that is making good use of being in Early-Access. It's a bit rough around the edges at the moment, but the base is there, as the base is very nicely built. The market it's launching into is a little... overcrowded at the moment, but I think it's able to push it's self out by being entirely PvE, while still having a very realistic EFT feel. The strong suite is in the gunplay and environment so far. Right now, it's able to run pretty well, and the environment and level design in this is very well made, and from what I can tell, quite authentic to real life Vietnam. There is communist symbols, old fishing hut villages, tropical forests and so on. There's even a lot of visual story telling going on with the giant US army tanks and equipment around. A lot of extraction shooters can rely on the gunplay and extraction element alone, and forget to actually be a good game excluding those, but this doesn't seem to. Talking about the gunplay, it is very solid and incredibly similar to Tarkov/ABI, in the best way possible. The recoil is nice, leaning is well-made, SFX feel good and weighty and the weapon inertia is really well done too. The weapon variation is good too, it's nice to see a lot of guns that one might actually find in Vietnam. Including millions of versions of AKs. The movement is well crafted too, it doesn't feel overly floaty and you feel like a physical heavy soldier logging around pounds of gear. The AI is really solid so far too, much better than a lot of people give it credit for. I do love that there is so many options present to alter the AI, down to their exact response times. Really helps you craft this to your liking rather than having a panic attack like you would in any PvP extraction shooter. It has it's moments though, the AI sometimes totally skips over you, or it see's you in pitch black darkness. The issues are small and sparse however, and for the most part they're pretty smart. I even saw a lot of minor flanking behavior, which is really neat. One gripe is that the economy and leveling faction system is really underbaked at the moment. Somethings like night vision gear is so cheap, but then suppressors are so expensive, almost just as much as NVG. Which seems insane as one is just a much bigger powerup than the other. The faction system also seems like an afterthought, it's so many little numbers you have to make go up before you can do something as simple as upgrade your generator. It's more annoying than rewarding, and could use a lot of reworking. Also, I'll cut some slack for this but so far the house interiors are incredibly bland and a lot of them are not furnished. Overall though, IRR is really heading in the right direction and this could be such a solid long term title as time goes on. Each update adds something people ask for, and the dev's really seem to care about making this unique and not just another extraction cash-grab that lasts for a couple months before going under (Looking at Marathon).
By far the best PvE Extraction shooter set in Vietnam that I have ever played
on steam few same games with simulare gameplay are for free
boring asf
Incursion Red River is already an amazing game, especially for an Early Access title. The gunplay feels great, the dynamic weather adds a lot to the atmosphere, and the enemy AI can make encounters genuinely challenging. There’s also a great variety of weapons and gear to experiment with. My main criticisms are that the maps feel a little small, the hideout could use much more customization, and I’d love to see a lot more loot and things to discover throughout the world. Overall, though, I’m really impressed with the game and what the developers have built so far. For Early Access, it’s in a great place, and I can’t wait to see what’s cooking!!
This is a good FPS extraction shooter if you want to take a break from sweaty pvp. Great graphics and game play. AI is decent and can be dialled up or down. Really good game.
Played about 12 hours in a few weeks, its been awesome so far, for the price it is just now i would give it a bash can't go wrong for 14 quid, enemies are good you can change the difficulty as well if you want a challenge, i'm a casual gamer and i will be on this for the foreseeable future. Check it out i just hope the dev's stick with the game and keep updating more contracts and new gear and loot should take this game to the next level, genuinely i think it has massive potential and is already a cracking game MUST BUY
