In Memory von BLAV erzählt eine bittertraurige Geschichte über den Krieg. Über die Jahre in Kriegsgefangenschaft, kommt der eingesperrte Soldat Jedrick nur mit Hilfe seiner Erinnerrungen an bessere Zeiten hinweg. Wir erleben dadurch die Vorgeschichte, die letzendlich zu diesem unglücklichen Schicksal führte. Dieser sehr sehenswerte Film gewann z.b. die Best Virtual Reality Award” beim Amsterdam Animation Festival 2018. In Memory ist eine tieftraurige Geschichte, die wiedereinmal deutlich zeigt, wie ungerecht und sinnlos der Krieg, vor allem für das gemeine Volk ist. Ein VR-Film der zu Nachdenken anregt. Der Preis ist für die gute Quallität des Werkes in Ordnung, allerdings ist In Memory ein Kurzfilm, den man sich warscheinlich nicht öfter als einmal anschaut. Länge ca. 10 min. I really wish I could recommend this experience but in the end it is not enough for a recommendation. This does not mean it is a bad experience at all but nothing memorable. Graphics are at best mediocre and there is no voice acting. The story is very short and consists only of a few scenes with very little (to nearly no) movement / animations (like you would look into a snow globe). Because of the short runtime it is hard to get emotional. Compared to other experiences of this kind this experience should be free or at max $0,99 (e. g. Allumette is free and nearly double as long).

In Memory is a free VR experience. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. It is about a prisoner of war and his memories. No talking, just watching action through animated models. Around ten minutes run time. Has 1 steam achievements. At one time, this was a paid product, so some negative reviews are from that time. You need a room scale of 2m x 2m and move your head into the light bubbles. Try it, if you looking for short sad story.

Short 10min animation with no interaction. The story tells the story of a guy that got captured in a war as he remembers his life before said war. Graphics are on the simple side, but they work well. Lovely short story worth your time as its a free experience.
