About
In Bloom: Prologue is a free version of In Bloom. Experience the core gameplay and get a taste of the experience that awaits in the full game.
Drawing inspiration from masterpieces such as The Last of Us and Amnesia, In Bloom is a survival-horror game. You play as a farmer waking up, abandoned by his family and unfamiliar with his surroundings. All you can see around you is that what once was owned by man has now been retaken by nature. Your only hope of survival is following the instructions of a mysterious stranger whose voice you hear over a radio, instructing you to go to Save Haven base and join the rest of the survivors.
Will you survive? Will you manage to fight your way through? Or will you allow nature to overtake you as well?

I didn't enjoy the game. I know game development can be hard. I wont dawg on that stuff. It's the fact there is zero story once you get in the game and hit start. Not even simple text. Wandering aimlessly around having no idea what your doing or why isn't and enjoyable experience. The story should be the thing you focus on first not the game itself otherwise your making a game that feels like a tech demo. Other than that outside of some weird gameplay flaws (Prob cus its not polished yet) it is a cool concept.
The game has potential. Will wait for the full game.

Gameplay Video This game is a great prologue for a future game. I believe there is plenty of room for expanding on the story, lore, atmosphere of the game. The atmosphere is already great with all the green around. Though I did find it confusing why we should avoid the green when the plants were blue. This should be a full game. Great pacing as you slowly walked your way to danger.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!! This game is a mix of all emotions-scary, exciting, and most importantly, fun. It is such an immersive game!! I highly recommend it! Please release the full game ASAP! Here are my pros & cons for the game: PROS AMBIANCE – Throughout the game, the environment, music, and sound effects make you feel like you are physically there-inside the game! IMMERSION – Although it is not an open-world game, you can walk around, discover, and feel the vibe. It is really nice to have such freedom of choice. CONS I do not feel enough satisfaction from killing enemies. I felt scared when they came toward me, so I wanted to kill them and feel like I got revenge, but I hardly heard a sound, and visually it was not satisfying enough. Objectives (in the pause menu) do not get ticked off when they are completed. I think this is a must, as the player should know whether they did it correctly or what is left. Overall, although I do not love shooter games, I really enjoyed In Bloom for its immersiveness and ambiance. This game has POTENTIAL!
Clean up a newly Fallen Village in this Color-Soaked Dystopian World, a New Upcoming FPS Famer Horror Game
A short little indie demo/prologue that was actually AMAZING to play start to finish! This horror game about being a farmer in a world overgrown and taken by plants could very easily go into the comedy horror space if it wanted to. I know they mentioned inspiration from The Last of Us and Amnesia, but I couldn't help but also see a lot similarities from Bioshock's vintage textures and moody lighting, and also We happy few's colorful saturated pallet and post processing. This was a lot of fun and a joy to go through even with this little slice of the game. I would love to see some patches for bugs and improvements before the full game releases, as I think some people will have higher expectations going in. However, aside from that I think this was a very unique game with a lot of fun environments and ideas that could be fleshed out into something huge. I definitely have the full game on my radar and will be wishlisting when a steam page/listing for it goes public. For 7 weeks of dev time from new game developer students this is VERY impressive, job well done. Cheers guys and here is to a successful launch for the full game
A good cute little indie free game with very simple gameplay mechanics... run... seek objective, shoot, survive, I hope this will be upgraded in final >>sell<< product with some more features (this is prologue). But as it is... it's ok. Game have good developing direction... I hope I will see more of it... with more weapons, tools, enemies, basic character upgrades trough find items or seacrets (health, speed, damage, reload speed, accuracy) and a lot more levels and gameplay stuff incorporated. But >>It's ok as it is<<. 7./10 If you just add >>a lot levels<< ...polished and balanced levels and story maybe some characters, I will bouth game for reasonable amount of money. Good luck devs.
Graphics are mid, sound is lousy, and overall it's boring.
Game was short, not to bad.
An interesting sci-fi horror game. I hope for a sequel and optimization.
