About
The goal is simple, activate all souls in a level and escape. However every level revolves around wildly differing mechanics where you must first explore and figure out the level's purpose before then solving its abstract puzzles.
You may be tasked with manipulating physical structures or the realm itself to solve logic puzzles, or wander strange subliminal spaces, perhaps deal with phasms or briskly bound through the aether. Delve into 64 mysterious mind-bending levels that will test the limits of every facet of your cognitive faculties.

Great game. There is an extremely diverse range of puzzles that will almost certainly destroy you.
Tags: Adventure - WS - Walking Sim Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Infinite empty space levels on artsy backdrops while blurry words sometimes are spelled out letter by letter. Multiple small instance based levels with debatably poor level and game design. Floaty jump. Avoid. This is a fairly low quality platformer in which platforms either float on top of infinite space over a death pit or you can walk between seemingly uninteractable randomly placed scenery objects on top of a background for apparently no purpose. Those are the two most encountered level types. Maybe some of them have a gimmick to them but for the most part the assets are very bare, there is no context, and the movement and fluidity of the platforming is way off. It is hard to make most jumps as you fall to your death very close the edge and jumping too early wont allow you to make the jump. Movement feels glidey and the game compensates by adding visual effects that do not make things necesseraly better. Combat is done by shoot a small energy bubble and it go in an arc. It becomes hard to differentiate if you cannot hit because of the off kilter hitboxing and odd angle attack or if the weapon just simply stops being effective at certain ranges. Some elements seem scripted, as the game wants you to sort of lever pull your way around. But the triggers are unclear at best. Why there are on occasional a small angel shape in the sky, a synthwave stylistic approach and you have frozen werewolf hands remains a mystery to me still. Conclusion: If you want to see a few semi interactive vignettes for a bit they do have some charm to them but not really something I would want to hold on to in my permanent library. You cannot do much with them and they are very lacking and you would be done in the half hour no doubt. Really not the game for me.
DISCLAIMER: This is a first impressions review, and NOT a full review
Ilamentia is a game developed and published by caiys The game offers some nice graphics and a beautiful aesthetic which is pleasant all the same and has some amazing attention to detail even though it is a little rough around the edges The game does suffer with some repetitiveness at certain areas of the game but a fun game nonetheless and ends just at the right time Ilamentia overall, however, is a fun game to play, yet sometimes repetitive and it does get boring if being played for a long time, but is an okay surreal puzzle game to play in short bursts!
